Musical understanding comes natural.. don't be decieved. The hard part is actually playing it without errors. Ur brain is capable of memorising anything if challenged enough. But muscle memory and muscle control is something u can't control and avoid. This is what should be appreciated instead. It's hard work to make it even 1 time perfectly on time. Insane drums composition.

+djent is totally a genre well a herta consists of two 32nd notes followed by two 16th notes (in this case), so I just put the dash there. When I put "16th/32nd" I was talking about one herta, with the 32nd note being the fastest note and the 16th being the slowest.

+Morgan Aubin hertas will always be followed by the last 2 notes being lower than the first 2 notes in terms of value (16th, 8th ect) just making sure you're not confused because 16th note passsages with 16th note hertas would sound alot slower. just making sure you don't confuse yourself bruh.

Man he's got so much style on the kit. He's a well known drummer in the metal hardcore scene but he's good enough to be playing at major clinics and festivals like pasics and all the other big drum festivals. Very underrated. He's not just a metal drummer though, super versatile drummer. Got chops and groove for days.

Yowch. That is some serious drumming there. Just saw these guys live and I wonder if only drummers and musically talented folks can tell when they "fuck up" live.... I mean Haake played this 3rd to last I believe after about 8 or 9 other songs. Some of them slower and easier for sure, but I have no idea what is easy for drummers. I tried drumming once. I will stick to writing I think. I wish. Seems like it is fun. I just can't do anything with instruments like that. Amazing to watch this video though. A cool experience.
