That was an amazing performance, I simply love the build-up in this piece. Liszt was a brilliant composer. Gyorgy did a wonderful job.

This is my favorite interpretation of this song. He's very calm.

This is by far the best version of Liszt's La Campanella I have ever heard. Adam places the emphasis on all the right notes and in all the right places, the main theme is kept at the perfect place. I myself am learing this piece and it is far from easy. Keep it up Adam your an incredible pianist.

No mere mortal playing here. I agree that Gyorgy is the best available on KZbin. There isn't a person living who can play this without errors. What makes this such a spectacular interpretation is how masterfully this young man carries through the "nature" so to speak of the bells. I love to hear it played with strength and a lead foot on the pedal I have never heard a bell that can be played staccato and am not sure that I would ever want to. It takes strength to ring those old brass bells and even more to power through this incredible work of art! Thank you so much for this share! Your creation is divine! I think there is a seat waiting for you where the DemiGods live.

What really makes this rendition stand out above of the others is the tone color, (or knowing exactly how loud each not should sound.)

An excellent performance. It's rare nowadays to find a young performer who actually INTERPRETS the music, instead of trying to dazzle us with technique.

Like my statement qualifies it as such, but this performance speaks for itself... AMAZING. I like how he didn't really rush the music like so many others seem to do... I wonder how Liszt himself played it.... wish I could go back in time...

Even if i'd learn to play this (no chance for at least a good 5 years!) I wouldn't be able to interpret it this well. This is quite wonderful though I also enjoy watching Yundi Li. I especially love how this guy begins the main theme for the last time (~3.58) and goes on with that ending. Great stuff.

He has an outstanding feel & technique I wonder if he was perhaps infuenced by Claudio Arrau? His command of the piano and its dynamics are astounding. Adam Georgy is really gifted; its a privilege and a joy to listen to this.

I like this version, even though it's not my favorite. I find this pianist to be the most articulate of all I've heard, clearest staccato that is caused by lifting each finger a long way. Not my favorite but very good, definitely world class level.

Franz Liszt ("Ferenc" is Hungarian for "Franz" and is pronounced "Fer` ents") was a 19th Century composer/pianist. He died in 1886.

...diddy knows what real music is about! he seamlessly brings together the world of business and the tunes of a songwriting company to provide a great experience for people less fortunate than he (in terms of style). I've never even heard of this guy! Oh so he can knock out a tune on a piano! big deal!..does he have his own fragrance line? has he ever collaborated with fiddy and jay-z?.......exactly!

Adam who? A little bid below tempo at 1:20, and a missed note hear and there but other than that it's the best rendition I've heard on youtube. It's a very difficult piece and I want to hear more of this gent.

The entire thing is a masterful performance, but the last minute is like a godlike! I am bummed they didn't show his hands 4:13-4:20, that is my favorite part of the song.

100 year old guy? Liszt was 27 when he wrote this (170 years ago) and is still well-respected world wide. Investing millions of dollars does not make you more talented. And as far as talent goes - Liszt owns diddy!
@GEF6916 жыл бұрын
wow, such clarity in his playing, yes the tempo was a bit slow but hey, this is the first time I get to hear every single note, maybe this is the correct tempo for campanella. I think I'll kidnap this guy and have him play this for me every day.
@itsanthonyhere17 жыл бұрын
You're right, it's now settled. There will be no more arguing anywhere on youtube about this song because you made that claim. Thank gosh..I got tired of reading so many opinions : O
@sisubilly17 жыл бұрын
For all you idiots that compare this interpretation to other pianists - STOP IT - Why can't you just appreciate the talent this man has! If you can do better, fine. This is music at it's finest - I don't think today's society knows what real music is anymore!

Excellent performance of a difficult song. I wish all of Listz's works didn't require MASSIVE HANDS, I'm only locked at an octave-stretch and I have train my hand to dart around on what's supposed to be the 'easy' parts.
@MsPianogeek15 жыл бұрын
I totaly agree with you.The short and choppiness i could do without. i like his version much better

@GlueStikkzz16 жыл бұрын
wow, this guy plays wn increaidbley different interpretation that ANYONS I've hers. her reeeally emphasizes the top and reppeated notes rather than the melody, which I'm not sure if I like better or worse. buts its sorta different and refreshing after listening to some of the others. very interesting. at first I wasn't sure if he was emphasizing the repeate top notes on purpose, but he must be. I guess thats his interp. quite interesting. very good pianist.
