This is a mental health crisis KZbin. Adam has lost too much weight, Oliver is off the deep end and Adam's latest music is not authentic. Adam is too awesome not to care about. The latest 9 months of his behavior is concerning.

@@AF-gw4btIf you have ever watched Adam on an Instagram livestream you will know that the music he is making at the moment is the kind of music he has always listened to. They have a good support group around them, don't overthink it.

My husband got to see Queen twice while Freddie was alive, and when I wanted to go see them in 2019, he was not convinced. I insisted, and he was absolutely blown away. He said it was the best concert he'd ever been to. When we had the chance again in 2023 to drive 12 hours to Atlanta, he was like, YES please. I adore Adam since Idol in all his forms. I love him with Queen soooo much, and my very favorite thing is the absolute JOY that comes through from Brian and Roger getting to perform for sold out, mesmerized audiences. The show is fantastic and being surrounded by Adam's impeccable voice is truly magical. He is a gift.

I watched Adam's Idol journey on ITV2 here in the UK. He was uniquely talented- creative and inventive- unlike any previous Idol contestant. He was a force of nature , a breath of fresh air. He was the real winner of the season but of course the awful homophobia of a large section of Americans denied him the win. His solo career never quite lived up to the promise of those early days- he's had moderate success here in the UK where several of his albums charted but only one top 20 single. His collaboration with Queen- that's something very different! He's the only person who could step up and fulfil the position as natural heir to Freddie. I saw him perform with Queen a few years back and he was SENSATIONAL! This is another terrific interview by Jamie- he has the knack of engaging with his guests, putting them at ease and allowing them to open up and share so much about themselves. A great You Tube channel that deserves to grow!

I love Adam. I knew my daughter was lesbian but waited for her to tell me. When she told me I said thank you for trusting me and I'm so proud of you. We are so close and I'm proud of her every day. She had friends who's parents threw them out when they knew, not judging them but come on! They are your children, you made them. I understand the macho thing with dads but I'll never understand mothers who turn their backs on their child just because they're gay. No straight person understands the turmoil inside a teenage gay persons head and I'm so glad I am who I am, I don't care if you're gay, bi, straight, what ever colour skin, everyone to me are just people trying to get through life as best they can. 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
@mariag53062 ай бұрын
I had a feeling my daughter was gay long before she did. I noticed that she and her best friend would have arguments but they hit different and affected them both differently than with just friends. Her friend was gay and she thought of me as her mother. Unfortunately her own mother didn't accept her but at least she had a wonderful relationship with her dad. Anyway back to my daughter. Once I noticed I decided to have a talk with her about love and relationships. I told her basically that it's okay who we fall in love with as long as we can be ourselves and not what society expects us to be. She finally told me a couple years ago, almost 10 years after our chat. It was so funny because she just casually threw it into the conversation as if discussing the weather.

Awesome interview dude!!! So glad that Adam was completely open and into it, says a lot to his actual personality. It says it all that Queen (that is Brian and Roger) held out replacing their front man for 20+ years until Adam came along. Adam just slotted right in there and I think Freddie was guiding that from the beyond. I’m saying that from the point of view of a massive Freddie/Queen fan BTW. I always felt that Adam would take Freddie’s mantle and run with it. No, he isn’t Freddie, there will never be another Freddie, BUT, Adam is the embodiment of Freddie… he feels the music the way Freddie did, he is a performer like Freddie was. Best fit as frontman for Queen there could ever be. Adam is a phenomenal vocalist in his own right, a beautiful soul and just so damned talented. I can remember telling my family the first minute I heard Adam audition on Idol that he would be a superstar and that only got clearer the further he progressed through the show…still have no idea how he ended up being runner up though, but guess he’s showed all his critics that he won in the long run…hmmm…who was the dude that won that year? 😂😂😂 On a personal note, as a Mum with a gay son…I knew that my eldest son was gay from a very, very young age (guess he was around 7 or 8, possibly younger looking back on old photos). He loved dressing in his sister’s clothes, loved make up, nail polish etc. and we just let him be silly and do what he wanted to do. Then of course, he sadly reigned all that in as a teenager and pretended to be straight. I have to say I was pretty horrible, not in a nasty way, but just wanting him to admit he was gay…I teased him mercilessly about girls just trying to get him to come out. I regret that now as it probably made him feel more conflicted in himself, although he says he knows that I knew back then but wasn’t confident in the reactions from other family members or his Dad if he came out then. 😢 He dabbled with drag for a bit in his early 20’s but finally settled on just being himself. When he finally publicly came out when he met his partner (now fiancé) 8+ years ago, I cheered to the world! 😂 He is 34 now, has been with his fiancé for 8+ years and it is so gratifying that he doesn’t have to hide himself anymore. His fiancé is a sweetheart too. ❤

Great interview, well done Jamie! I saw Adam and Queen at Central Methodist Hall New Years Eve 2014. One of the best experiences of my life. There were only 1800 people in the room and I couldn't believe I was seeing Adam (as well as Queen) in such an intimate space to begin with! I got the last but one ticket and in the run up I had to stop talking about it because when I did I got so excited I kept losing my appetite LOL! Went to bed at 5am (I live in London!) after the concert because when I got home I couldn't stop looking at the photos and video I'd taken of him. I was near the front and one time when I shouted "Adam" he made a point as he walked towards my side of the stage to give a long look. He's so amazing to his fans. He sees us and lets us know. It was like a dream. He's talented but also intelligent. Great combo :)

I wholeheartedly agree. All the hate that Adam and other amazing vocalists get for having the courage to step into the shoes of the much loved front men of their respective bands still baffles and saddnes me. They are not just "replacements", especially Adam. He himself has said that he is not their to replace Freddie, someone who could never be replaced in a million years, but that he's there to sing and pay tribute to his legacy and that of the band's. Songs that are so cherished and embraced by the world. We most certainly should be applauding them and appreciating their pure talent and genius rather than hatefully debating whether ot or not they are "worthy replacements".
