There’s always one who just has to compare instead of just accepting that someone is a great artist in their own right. Freddie was great. His range, charisma and presence was undoubtable and he will always remain an icon and a legend of his generation. Adam Lambert is his own entity. He just happens to have been asked to join Queen so that their songs can live on and people can enjoy them...all through what is probably the greatest voice of THIS generation. Just enjoy it and stop bloody comparing like school kids do!

Gorgeous and incredible. If you wanted to build the perfect singer, you'd build Adam Lambert. Magnificent voice, superb technique, exquisite expression, awe-inspiring range and beautiful timbre. And then he has those looks, the charisma and the attitude. Plus, by all accounts, he is such a sweetheart and fun to be around. Wonderful human being. (Or fierce alien. Same thing.)

@@eyyd2401 not at singing. Sorry to burst your bubble, but there is really no comparison between them as singers. Adam Lambert is a far better singer, while Freddie had lots of vocal problems, because he never learned how to sing properly. His vocal chords would bleed from bad technique and misuse. Sadly, this plagues most pop and rock singers who have not trained their voices classically. (More recently, Adele had similar problems.) Fortunately, Adam Lambert has a solid foundation and takes great care to sing with proper technique. His usable range is also beyond what most singers have at their disposal, partly due to his natural talent and, again, party because of that foundation. That is also why he will have longevity as a singer. He can sing hundreds of live shows a year without suffering vocal problems. Freddie could not do that. And neither can most pop and rock singers. There is a very obvious reason for that: they never trained their voices classically as children. But you go on and believe what you wish to believe. I know I'm not going to change your mind concerning who is "better". You can like whoever you like. And feel free to listen to whoever your ears enjoy most. I know what my ears enjoy - Adam Lambert's breath control, vocal acrobatics and artistic interpretation. He never sings the same song twice, because he always sings it differently: the sign of a true master of his craft. He is able to play around with his voice and breathe new life into music, because his artistry and singing ability allow him to do whatever he wishes.

Adam Lambert has the best voice on the planet right now, as quoted by Roger Taylor and Brian May also. He is the consummate entertainer, not trying to imitate anyone but celebrate the iconic songs of Queen, they are timeless. It also gives the younger generation the chance to enjoy what we had back in the day. Thank you for posting this video! I've been an Adam Lambert fan since hearing his audition on American Idol. I've seen him live many times, both solo and with Queen. He has the best live voice I have ever heard. He is the perfect choice to front Queen as he has the pipes and the same flamboyance demonstrated by Freddie Mercury. I loved the dancers also!

It is not easy at all to deliver so much Queen energy without a Queen band, without a Queen audience not on a Queen concert. I heard Adam a lot of times singing Queen outside the Queen band, but it wasn't so mind-blowing as at this time.

Really? I think he has not sung that much queen outside his queen concerts. Except for some dragon attack and another one bites the dust on his solo concerts, I'm not aware he has sung that much queen at all... And when I've heard him outside the Queen concerts, he's even more more mind-blowing if that's possible, because he doesn't have to fight for domination with the queen sound. He has so much power he can keep up with Brian's bombastic guitar sound no problem and Roger's drums plus percussions, so with other musicians he's really having a walk in the park... And for the audience, I'd bet a lot this one here is much friendlier and he doesn't have to fight to make them accept him... He's loved here no questions asked, no silly he's no Freddie, no silly fan jealousies... Here, only people happy to listen to that magnificent voice and cheer him on, as you can see and hear it...
