Class. Real class. Glad the HHOF finally honored the best passer/playmaker of his era. He turned a lot of good talent into "greats". Last words were to thank his Mom, Dad and The Mrs. That's good people. Class.

Oh how it is very clear that Adam Oats is a good man with integrity and much appreciation for those that helped him to the top . I wish him the very best !!

This is one player I wish the Illitch’s could have brought back when they were putting together all star teams in Detroit. It sucked when they traded him. Not sure if there would be enough ice time for Stevie, Sergei and Adam Oates, but damn that would have been one helluva of a trio!!

I watched him as a junior he was on my brother's team...Markham Waxers along with Steve Thomas...classy then and still today...and always on point...Congrats...excellent speech.

Pure class. Didn’t really see him much in his prime, but I think he was underrated. He made those around him better, and that’s as great a compliment you could give to any athlete or public figure

As a Bruins fan growing up, I had some incredible players that I personally idolized here in Boston. Cam Neely, Ray Bourque, Andy Moog, and by far, one of the most prolific passers and assist men is Adam Oates. My only regret, is that I wish he played longer as a Bruin along with Cam Neely. Adam Oates is by far one of the classiest athletes.

The third best passer of all time after lemieux and gretzky! his chemistry with brett hull was unstoppable and very tough for the opponents to comprehend

Seeing the best frommy youth, Oates, Neely and Bourque all together in such an intense moment. Wow! My eyes got wet and teary.

Very nice, such an understated guy, in so many ways, I think because of that, at times he didn't get the recognition he so righly deserved, but anybody who knows what offsides is, knows how incredible A player he was, at times, he was MAGIC!!!

Outside of Gretzky nobody was a better or more creative playmaker.

Didn't even have to use a cheat sheet to do his speech.

And the St. Louis blues in their wisdom traded away Oates and Hull and Shanahan and Gilmour and many others -

На такие мероприятия даже таких бузотёров как Тай Доми приглашают?

Dumbest thing the ST Louis Blues ever did was to trade Adam Oats. Ugh
@edbarrett36202 жыл бұрын
Right up there for dumbest moves by Detroit as well…

Oates needs to go!!! There is no logic behind his coaching style. C'mon Caps you can do better than this
