This was great timing and makes so much more sense. All I kept seeing is to keep the knee’s narrow but in real life that it’s so hard to do when bringing the heels up. So glad you cleared this up

The swimmer to Adam's right does a butterfly kick at the end of every breaststroke kick. I thought that was illegal.

Just diff variety of kick, that competitor is world class swimmer as well😅

Diff variety with 0 world records 😅 at this level it is all marginal gains. Every little helps. You can tell there is less power in the kick, but he keeps momentum and less "CDA". He whips his feet faster, making up for that loss of upper leg power. That is why he is seconds faster by the end.
