Looks like a Korda krank style or the Nash Claw. Great hooks - I expect it’s neither of these brands knowing adams fishing but definitely something similar is perfect in my opinion and experience. Cheers

Why not I guess if you can feather the lead down to avoid tangles you get greater separation from a longer rig and can fish a bottom bait over soft bottoms without the worry of your lead dragging the rig down
