Hello again young man! ...and thank you for the content. I LOVE Home free. Pentatonix has "high pitch Mitch", and and Voice Play has "how low can you go" Geoff, and I love both those groups too but if I had to big my #1 it would be these guys....I don't know, there is just something about Home Free. Lots of Hugzzz to you ~ Beth Ann and Kaelyn

He’s remarkable. That was almost 10 years ago and it’s still a favorite of mine. How does he breathe?? He plays trumpet and taught himself drums to get the motions right. He has newer videos but this one is so clear. 😍😄

Fantastic reaction! It's fun to watch others be equally impressed with these beatboxers. I couldn't make those sounds once. I cant imagine doing it repeatedly, fast and for a whole song. SHOW-GO's performance of "Silver" is pretty impressive. He also sings while beatboxing.

@@555Vibes, I should add that Show-go doesn't stick with standard drum kit beatboxing. I think he adds sounds that are more familiar to his culture. But he has competed in competitions since 2016, consistently placing in the top 10. Did I mention that he can sing while beatboxing? 😂

Nice, thanks! That’s crazy, I’ll definitely be watching that. Always appreciate your comments. 🙂

Every time I watch one of Adam's beatbox solos, I wonder, does he use his sound effects when reading books to his children???

This was in 2015 when Chris was still with the group. Check out the newer ones from 2021-2022 when the got back on the road again after quarantine. He uses a looper new so he can multi-layer his own voice. They do the drum solo every show and he sounds better than ever. There's a Home Free short I like to recommend, only about 36 seconds long and filmed spur of the moment by someone backstage, titled "Home Free Adam Rupp left out to dry". Too funny.

Wasn't that great! Love Adam Rupp & his insane talent. He is the best out there in my opinion. He simulates the sounds of a drum perfectly. Many drummers have commented on how good he is. He sounds so realistic. His breath control must be crazy. I heard he makes the sounds both while inhaling & exhaling. This was a few years ago & hard to believe but he is even better now. Adam is the glue that holds Home Free together. He is their secret weapon which other a cappella groups can't match.
@roberthudson19597 ай бұрын
If I recall correctly, his degree is in trumpet performance. In any case, he studied trumpet long enough to learn "circle breathing" so that he could inhale and exhale simultaneously.
@JoanN637 ай бұрын
I think a very good explanation for this: Adam Rupp is non-human. 😉 He is a drum alien in Angelguise. You just have to because he is so unbelievably good(and handsome too😊😍)!! Like he swallowed a drum kit. And then vocally he can also make so many more (instrument) sounds which is not normal

The incomparable Adam Rupp--beatboxer and vocal percussionist extraordinaire!! Home Free's secret weapon❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ I don't know that anyone has ever actually publicized Adam's range, but I sincerely believe his is the widest vocal range of all the Home Free fellas 💕 And if you want to get a good dose of our amazing HF beatboxer singing, check out "Guilty Pleasures Hilariously Derailed". It's a longer video but SO worth it!! #HomeFree

i meam this in no hate but the people that are fans of home free and other acapella groups have no idea what professional beatboxers can really do. react to River Vs B-Art 2021 for some real beatboxers.

@jvxnyy Valid point; no hate detected. For many people who listen to a capella & /or country music, this is their only exposure to beatboxing. (It sure was mine! I once listened to a highly rated beatboxer, and I could tell a difference.) But, these a capella beatboxers still have an essential role in their groups, and that is being the vocal percussionist.
@jvxnyy7 ай бұрын
@@brendasorenson6186 100% i love acapella groups. i just wish more people knew the extent of what a world class beatboxer can really do. sadly most people think this is the extent.
@brendasorenson61867 ай бұрын
@jvxnyy I understand where you are coming from. It drives me crazy when people repeat erroneous info (of which I've been guilty of a time or two). Adam has never competed in a world championship in beatboxing. Chris did not select Chance as his replacement. Tim and Geoff Castellucci don't sing the lowest bass notes. Oops, sorry; got on my soap box!
