Amazing grace first and last song ever sung by this group

You will understand the song a lot more if you ever travel to Washington DC and I suggest going to the wall during the day and again at night, it’s an ery different feeling. But unforgettable for sure

The two on the left are brothers. The thin guy is an original and jimmy on the right is the new kid in the band. Retired in 1991. Sang together as a group over 40 years. Jimmy wrote this song.

Greetings from 2025, where FOTUS Trump has threatened tariffs and annexation of Canada so now we're booing your anthem across the nation. Wake up Americans.

And now... Canadians boo the US national anthem and are boycotting US products because Trump talks about the 51st state and implements 25% tariffs. SMH

They all often "telegraph" the notes their singing with the the movement of their hands, but Scott definitely does this when he's singing bass. I think it's cool, because it helps those who don't know them well to recognize he's singing the bass part.

This video needs to go viral in the US RIGHT NOW! It’s February 2, 2025 and Trump, the egotistical moron, just unleashed unnecessary punitive tariffs on Canada. He’s trying to destroy generations of friendship, loyalty and goodwill with one stroke of a pen. Share this everywhere!

Yeah. That’s so over. Never again. Fool me once … America had precisely two standing allies left in this world. **Two** And he just launched full-blown, all-out economic warfare on us. On false pretences ( no surprise there ! Getting ‘Weapons-Of-Mass-Destruction’ vibes ?). And literally threatening our Sovereignty. He’s not suggesting folks could renogiate a win-win agreement, or tighten up some loose ends, for the better of all parties. King of America - with complete, utter, total control of the most expensive military on Earth - threatening the Sovereignty of Canada, Panama, Danmark, México and EU next. Yeah … it’s over.
@SquareRootOfMinus13 күн бұрын
And Americans seem to be blithely unaware of the holy terror that their King has unleashed on the Earth. But it’s not like they didn’t see it coming. It’s not a mistake … “Geez, how did that nut job squeak through ?” They openly, wontonly embraced it. And now it’s here : Cult of MAGA. Seems they deserve every last bit of misery that will befall them. Enjoy yourselves. But so sad that the civilized counties will also suffer the fallout.
@SquareRootOfMinus13 күн бұрын
“ Fool me once … “ But, yeah. Not again. < An American is broken down at the side of the road. Flat tire. You pull over to help. Change their tire … in their moment of need. The American steals your wallet; jumps in your car and drives away.> Why ? Because he can. Predators do what predators do. It’s in their nature. But here’s a question : Americans knew full well that this adjudicated r@ pist has been convicted of multiple counts of fraud. Yet they embraced him. Welcomed fascism with open arms. So … are they responsible?

This is the theme tune to the Gladiator film. The place is Horse Guards Parade, where Trooping the Colour takes place each year. This is part of one of the special concerts played here several times a year in the summer. It is not the Palace, those are the Government military defence buildings on Whitehall in London. The bandsmen & women are all serving soldiers who are also musicians, many will have seen active service in Afghan etc. They are not musicians playing at soldiers. Many will be military medics & other support staff, but all are fully trained active soldiers.

More than anything, this was the Queen's tribute to the 3000 plus lives lost in the twin towers. I was in the US with my children on holiday, we flew back to the UK and were in the air when the news was announced. Most Brits stand with our American cousins, as we did during the war.

You have chosen a great tune from the most amazing concert event in history to enter the Pink Floyd rabbit hole, the hole runs deep and I hope that you consider doing the entire Pulse concert in segments as you see how deep the rabbit hole goes, it is a journey that you will be most grateful for taking, Thank you for allowing us to take this journey with you, looking forward to more, God Bless.

She was indeed was a memorizing artist. The world did her dirty after she tried to bring attention to the corruption of the catholic church over the numerous child sexual abuse scandals during that time. She courageously tore up a picture of pope John Paul II after her performance on Saturday Night Live singing in a clear voice "We know we will win, we have confidence in the victory of good over evil" then threw the pieces to the ground and finished by telling viewers to "Fight the real enemy" (availible to see on KZbin). She was banned from NBC for life and was blacklisted by the entertainment industry. She also was boo'ed off stage thereafter for a long time and tone of the fans turned on her dramatically including record/CD burning all over and death threats etc. Some people stood by her including those who had been abused by the church, as well as I , a survivor. When everything finally was brought to light regarding the churches chronic mishandling/deceitful covering up of child abuse victims the world realized their mistake, in my opinion, but the damage was done to one of our biggest advocates fighting against childhood sexual abuse. She said in her memoir "I feel that having a number-one record derailed my career, and my tearing the photo put me back on the right track." According to the singer, she "wasn't born to be a pop star." In 2001, a decade after O'Connor's "SNL" appearance, Pope John Paul II apologized for rampant sexual abuse by Catholic clergy.

Pam Miller "Somebody's Daughter". Of all the patriotic/military songs out there, it's really hard to find the ones that make reference or speak directly to the women who have served and are serving. As of tomorrow, I will be retired after serving 20 years in the Air Force. It's nice to have at least one song that specifically honors women in the military. Would love to see your reaction to it. Thank you for your service brother.

You should check out Martina McBride and I'd start with her CMA Awards performance of her song "Where Would You Be" so you get the full, live, unedited lesson in how to belt! The video is on YT and you can find that performance easily (many reactors already have). This would be a good intro to Martina McBride and then there's a full rabbit hole to follow after that - Concrete Angel, Independence Day, Broken Wings, and many more.....
