Your testimony has lifted my spirits and reminded me of how good God is. I am praying for God to help me find a good counselor. I go to church and a Christian support group called Celebrate Recovery. Kwame, you're not alone! You represent many! My story is very comparable to yours. I'm 42 years old, have been through a lot, but still here (on earth) serving God because of His mercies. Lucifer tries to destroy the future generation by using their own parents, those who are supposed to protect them. The sad thing is that these adults are so-called Christians, in your case your stepfather was a worker or an elder in the church. Like Kwame, let's take courage even if we lose everything. It's better we lose all on earth but gain Jesus in totality. Jesus in totality is the guaranteed promise of eternity with the Father in the 3rd Heaven. I'm reminded of words of the Apostle Paul, when he talks about a thorn in his flesh. The memories of painful beginnings is such! May the Lord sincerely grant us the grace to press on towards the high calling of the Lord Jesus Christ.

This exactly 💯. I think the generations in the last several decades have had increasing abuse, and abuse has more and more access to the vulnerable. We almost all have had abuse by now. It is hard to move forward when we hate existing. We just have to remember to thank God for what we do have. For some, that may only be molecules of oxygen. We have to remember that, and to pray for all those in those dark corners. God is telling me right now that we are being sifted. I always felt like I fell between the cracks. I don't fit in any category of specific person to help, so I just keep sliding along those tubes and get sifted into a further tube. It's dark and doesn't feel like your being seen, or that there's any purpose. But there is. We're being sifted and secreted away into His secret sanctuary 💖 Jesus loves you. The Father loves you! The Holy Spirit loves you!!! And I love you all; hugs to all my long suffering brothers and sisters 🤗🥰🙏

Fake happiness in public but behind closed doors I’m contemplating ending it all. I don’t have control over it anymore. I don’t remember being genuinely happy.

I love and hate this time of year because even though I have a father, mother, and many brothers and sisters, I feel like I am by myself because they all have families except me, I go home by myself after I see them during Christmas and just start drinking wine beer or some something to number the pain of loneliness because I don't have a family of my own. I am currently in bible college and am asking jesus to bless me with a woman of God so that I can be happy for once, especially during this season.

I'm scared this will be me, but I stuggle with same sex attraction, so it's likely to happen. Sometimes I wish I was given a different sin. Even though I like women too, no one really wants a bi man. I just hope I can get married and have kids someday. My struggle has made me very depressive which is partly why I have clicked on this video. My brother got prophesied a few months ago that he would be married soon, but nothing was said to me and it's been weighing on me bad.

Blessings to you Kwame. I also grew up here in a Ghanaian family and the abusive behavior is very much normalized. Our culture can be very backwards at times and mental health is not taken seriously at all. I too had suffered with depression for as long as I can remember and my family treated me so bad because they don't understand it. My life has been rejection after rejection from family, friends and romantic relationships until God recently started revealing things to me in my dreams and lead me to Kevin Ewings teachings. Thats when I started to really understand why all these things were happening in my life. This year has been tough but God has definitely changed my life for the better. Sometimes, life gets so difficult, and I hide from the world because I can't keep it together. But, I can't imagine walking away from God, and that is one way He is keeping me. I've lost friends, and sometimes I really believe He removed the distractions and allowed me to be isolated so that I can depend only on him. He will carry you through the storms. Man I’ve been struggling all of my 37 years on this earth from hardships, lack, stress, depression, you name it. I’ve given my life to Christ in 2011 and I’m still going through it. I’m the oldest of my mother four children and the only boy she had. I’ve lost about ten family members back to back the last five years straight, including my mother and sister six months apart. My family is shattered and separated, I’ve lost my job and is struggling unfortunately while having to take care of two children. I’ve fasted, beg God for answers, break throughs, open doors etc. nothing has happen smh, I’ve lost my faith and definitely trying not to become a bitter man. I’m not sure what has happen to my life, I don’t drink, smoke, not a criminal, hasn’t made others stumble always kept a job and took care of my responsibilities. Life has lifed me unfortunately these last few years, I don’t know what else to do.

I almost feel like this was put out today just for me because it is WILDLY side by side in sooooooooooo many ways starting from the beginning and continuing of consistent childhood trauma (mine was daily hardcore physical/mental/emotional/extreme verbal abuse) by a parent who was the youth group teacher and church van driver every sunday etc etc , and I mean even down to what was planned to be his last Christmas, ON Christmas. Also my 10 year old grand nephew is going through so much right now because of his selfish biological father because my nephew is so unhappy but because of his biological father is so selfish he would not allow him to visit his family in the Bahamas so I pray so much for him and ask God to keep him and don't allow the enemy to entrapped his life. The way I relate to this testimony so much… God is still working on and in me and still healing me and drawing me closer to Him day by day, but man this testimony… God is sooooo Good fr!

It makes me sick the way that he talks about having to put a mask on that everything is ok to be a worship leader and then people blanking him after resigning. I dont care who you are or how important you think you are - if you think worship is about image and everything looking perfect get into your bibles and read the psalms and find out what a TRUE worshipper should be. Man Jesus humbled himself and became obedient to death - even death on a cross! Do you honestly think all the glitz and glamour worship represents the true heart of worship!! Think again and repent if you are of it this mindset! Get right with God!!

I wish the Pastors who cut you off had dug deeper to find out why you were resigning since they had a lot of confidence in your capabilities. Then they would have known you badly needed help and done something.
