Going forward I think 🤔 instead of giving out fat contracts the Niners need to draft young talent a year early and let the holdouts walk. The 49ers paid Trent and BA. They didn't miss any FA big names because they paid CMC, nor did they pass on a ig time HB prospect in the draft because they had CMC. If CMC is out for a long time I do fear this season may not be a good one. I have noticed the team has a hard time scoring TDs without him. When CMC joined the team all of a sudden the team can score in the red zone. PS has Kyle so far this season called up any pass plays to Jordan Mason?? I wish he would because if he does and Jordan can catch it then CMC absent won’t be as bad.

Something like this was going to happen sooner or later for CMC. He is one of the strongest runners and is overused, even tho he wants to be. Get over the Madden Curse. The Niners need to force teams to play Mason the way they would CMC.. Mason has shown he is capable. Use him the same as they would with CMC. Force the attention. Make teams scheme for Mason. Trust in him. Put fear into the opposing team that JP can play like CMC. So when CMC comes back he isn't automatically used as a work horse and can get more plays off. Niners need to take the risk and not be scared. Mason can do it.
