@@BlueBanjoGrass it was made by a guy named Clark Damron. I played it for 10 years got a divorce abs sold it to settle with my ex. Rhonda Vincent owns it now and I’ve begged her to buy it back but to no avail.

This show is going on my "if I ever invent a time machine" list. Ya'll simply slayed that song, Darrol himself would have been thunderstruck, haha. Never thought I'd heard Ride the Wild Turkey played with a fervor and a technical stridency like that. Then again, I had no idea bluegrass was capable of until I heard Jim play fiddle for the first time. Was transiting the Blue Ridge and opted for an unfamiliar radio station. Couldn't get enough, changed my life. Bless you all.

Looks like Mountain Heart of the time with Ron Stewart instead of Barry Abernathy on banjo. Possibly the same configuration that appeared on Van Cleve's solo album.

Lovely playing pity about wrecked Gibson 4 string banjo. I play both 4 and 5 string banjo and neither is superior .4 string banjoists are sometimes more interesting, Its just fashion again , Many guitars were ruined in transitional periods from baroque 12 string to the 6 string for fashion sake .Many beautiful guitars were lost to us for greed sake by dealers who overcharge for converted Gibson banjos. Gibson no longer make so these are lost forever.
