That was a very rude comment and uncalled for. This is a tribute to an amazing pitcher that has always been loyal to the Cardinals and their fans. The team needs a new manager and new additional players. Every team has a lull. Follow the Golden Rule we teach our children. I’m sure the children loved this. So, perhaps you shouldn’t watch it if you are going to be that frustrated. I like to remember the World Series the Cardinals won and all their playoffs. And that is the “ Cardinal Way”.

@@clarelapier2825 Uncalled for? Tell that to the fans that booed Mozeliak (at the ceremony). Which I didn't have a problem with... This organization takes fans for granted, and takes a conservative (sit on their hands) approach every offseason. Doing the bare minimum. Without the fans, Mo doesn't have a salary... none of them do. Truth be told, I also have no problem with this comment. It is a circus down there. The comment is more directed at the Cardinals putting their primary focus on ballpark events, million dollar arm patch advertisements, and bobblehead regalia, than top tier players/free agents. Nothing to do with Wainwright. Please learn to separate the player from the person. We know Waino is a great human being... no one is debating that.

Yes and this moment was completely deserved. The point is the Cardinals could’ve signed pitching to support Waino in the rotation and also let him entertain the fans with a concert. The best years we’ve had always centered around spending a little bit of money/ resources in addition to developing home grown talent A LOT better than we have in recent years. And yes I say we as a fan because I have spent thousands of dollars on merch, tix, travel. Don’t know about blood but I’ve definitely shed sweat and tears (of joy and sadness) for this team over the years. Booing Mo is completely warranted as to let him know not to take the fans for granted that are among the best in baseball

Sounds like every other modern country song on the radio..has a decent voice.. the song pushes all the modern bro-country buttons without having anything that stands out at all.. just hire a bunch of professional musicians and play what you think country music is. perhaps if he finds an actual writer/artist with writing talent he can have a hit. Would do him some good to listen to real greats like George Jones, Hank Williams (senior not the gross son), Johhny Cash, John Prine and perhaps The Flatlanders.

@@betterdays4964 I agree totally!! This year has been a total bust! Adam did absolutely nothing to help the team.... and took a fairly hefty salary if I recall.

Wainwright is a future Cardinals Hall of Famer with 2,000 strikeouts, 200 wins and 3× All Star he has had a GREAT CAREER AS A CARDINAL AND HE HAS EARNED HIS RETIREMENT!!

​@kevinfox1008 What's that got to do with this year? He should of went out last year. He knew he was toast but took 17.5 mil this year and definitely didn't earn it. It was all about himself and the quest for 200. Hell one season Stan Musial gave part of his salary back because he didn't think he earned it. Now that's class. Gibson retired early in his last season because he didn't have it anymore and Red took him out of the rotation before he did because he could see he was finished and that's what real managers do. They were great Cardinals that put the team and organization first.
