Tears of joy , World champion Image saying it to yourself again and again just enjoying that dream achievement for a few days … on another note 33 isn’t old for even for mma fighters, if your a full professional your good for another 3-5 years easy. .. masters is more for amateur to semi professionals who have hit 30s so they have families and possibly work cutting down training time

Adam started around the same time as I did and we are the same age, both Black Belts now. I watched him for a long time and It motivates me to no end seeing stories like his and his dreams become reality. Im definitely never going to be a World Champ at this, but I just gotta compete again

I was lucky enough to meet Adam and do some sparring with him at a seminar in the Netherlands. It was the beginning of my jiu jitsu journey. I was a white belt - he was super nice to me. He wasn't like - oh you should pick a white belt to spar with. It was my turn on the rotation and he was like - okay let's go... you can tell if someone doesn't want to be there but he just took the opportunity to teach me. I watched him and a bunch of world class guys who were at the camp rolling. It was like being able to watch the likes of Sean White doing tricks on the half pipe. It's one of the joys of our sport, how unbelievably accessible our stars are. The fact that you can share a mat with them regularly. Nicolas Meregali was also there fresh off his IBJJF worlds win and Ffion Davies too. I had no idea how epic of a camp that was having so many star athletes under one roof.
