That happens during summer here in Florida. The cigarette smokers throw their butts out of their cars and they land on dry grass.

When I read the title I was worried that it was a fire in the house. 😳 Thankfully the bushfire was quickly spotted and extinguished by the fire brigade. It seems like it was bad luck that the water was off that day too. Isabella's Ramen looked nice.🍜😋

Thank you my friend for your concern. It was thankfully spotted quickly otherwise it would have reached the houses. Water goes off frequently now as the source here is stretched by the hot season. I spoke with neighbours and first time in over 14 years of them being here of there being a wildfire. God bless you my friend 😊

Why not start collecting rainwater in barrels so that you can conserve water and not be dependent on the city water? Also, rainwater is great for plants😊. Have a great day 💓!

We are working on something my friend. Little rain at the moment but collecting what there is would help. We couldn’t leave the tops open though as it attracts mosquitoes. Have a great day 😊

@@AdamandJanesLifestyle Here in the US they sell rain barrels that come with a fine wire mesh to help prevent mosquitoes from entering. I don't know how effective this is but perhaps this is something you can look into? Take care and have a great day 😌!

Need to hack those brushes around your house and create a safe border. Yes, everyone gets old but your too young to start maintaining pills, it's a good way to make doctors rich and you dependent on more pills 💊 . I just hit 60 yrs old and never had any pills to maintain. GL and peace out!!! 😊

Thanks my friend. We already clear what is between lots. It’s illegal to go onto someone’s lot and remove without permission. Not sure what pills but we don’t take any medication at all 😊

Seen exactly the same in rural Thailand..seeing some small smoke then BAM ..big fire in 2-3 minutes. And all village getting out and fighting the fire and save the houses together. happy that you are safe and everybody worked together.

Hey Adam. Glad they were able to take care of that fire. Curiosity question, since you are so close to the sea, why don't they have water lines from the sea to various areas that would then only be used for things like putting out fires? It seems that would be a simple solution.

Once a month we go to Robinson Mall to do a big shopping trip to buy non-parishable food and cleaning supplies. Otherwise my wife shops at the market for meats and vegetables--cheaper and fresher.

A couple of fire beaters might work, dont need water and can stop small fires from spreading or prevent from spreading to vital areas. Good for places without water and always a cheap option. Used here in the UK when controlling controlled burn fires.

We have a pressure pump with a small tank which is connected to both what I call city water and a well. We run off the well most of the time because the water is clean but not drinkable. We buy our drinking water. Even if we used the city water we would still buy our drinking water.

I fought forest fires as a young man.. a good shovel and some elbow work that could have been stopped quickly. Cutting a line around it.. smashing it with the shovel, and throwing dirt on it. Good think the LGU fire responded.

It’s All ways Great to make an Escape Route on every Part of your Home if ever there is a Fire if a Fire is 8 Foot High or Wide don’t try to Fight it Leave it! When you Sleep in your Bedroom Keep your Door shut That will keep the Smoke out and give your Hallway Smoke Alarm Time to wake you. And it Keeps Gas Or Monoxide From getting to you Quickly!!! If you Leave your Home Because of a Gas Leak Rule of thumb you should hold your Thumb up to your Eye and your house should be Smaller then your Thumb. That’s the Distance you should be from your House in case it Blows up! Smoke can Kill you in 10 Seconds!! Fire needs Oxygen to Breathe and when it’s Burning an Object it’s Eating. AdAM it’s Great to Have A Fire Extinguisher 🧯 in your House that sprays Foam not Water! Take a Fire Safety Course! God Bless you 3 ADAM!

You didn’t watch or understand the situation. Waited for someone to take action? We called the fire service. There is no water available at that time as you may have heard of the heatwave through South East Asia… situations like this can and do happen daily so it’s good to bring awareness as left alone it would have eventually taken someone’s life. We all need to be vigilante and look after each other. That is what is intended of us as human beings and not to criticise, envy or disrespect 😊

in the philippines its hard for a grass fire to spread its very slow maybe because of the type of grass but here in California they spread so fast

I’d agree my friend but this spread 20 meters in 2 minutes. The grass was dry and the wind taking it away. It could easily have spread to the entire field then houses. All fires are dangerous. God bless you 😊

Been doing wildfies for 20 years, I'm looking at moving near Diverse minds near Sogod. I was told of wildfires during their season, were I live part of the reason to keep wildfires from happening is to cut away the brush from the side of the road omongst other things. Question: How big did the fire grow, and did the fire brigade go into the fields and mop it up?

They did well my friend. The fire thankfully didn’t spread too far and not beyond into the field. Can be pretty big and quick. Have seen a few fires lately driving around the city.

@@AdamandJanesLifestyle yeah not really a quick response and even if they are just next door its still gonna be the same delayed response. this is based on experience since i lived in the 3 big islands (LVM) not all at the same time ofcourse. if you lived in metro manila, there, its gonna be a futile exercise because of the traffic jams. a province where i was assigned one time, the neighbor called the fire brigade and they said their gonna be a bit delayed as the fire truck had to go gas up and refill its water tank. i don't blame the personel or staff but the beauracratic red tape in acquiring stuff needed to run a fire brigade in the philippines.

@@neverppreciated you are completely wrong my friend. The response was prompt, professional and even with traffic they managed to get there extremely quickly. Here in Leyte they responded quickly coming from the city to the province.
