In1300AD an famous arab explorer called ibn battuta came to India ,Delhi and he was amazed by the prospority of Delhi he also add Delhi at major point of that time cus Delhi was full of energy , opportunities, resouces and well skilled workers with large population. so after 200years mughals came to invade India than UK came delhi loss all the prospority and its colour due to many rivals and rulers it became bloodshed area at that era. It's surprising how you people are supporting those dishonest sellers, they increase the price 3 to 5 times more and try to sell it, if he is selling it at 350 then the actual price is bought will be of 50-70 rupee and 150 is more than enough.

@@shreyas4142 What's a "dishonest seller"? They aren't scammers, if someone is exaggerating prices, u bargain, u don't get the deal, u don't buy. There's isn't anything like dishonest for street vendors. If u want a "reasonably" legal price, go to a showroom or a supermarket, not to a street vendor. Expecting a t-shirt of 100Rs is funny af..u don't get anything for 100Rs lmao. Minimum price for a "wearable" adult t-shirt is 200Rs. People go to these markets with an empty head without even deciding what they want, they go with the flow, people want 100s of sellers to run to them with good prices so that they can decide, here they (foreigners) r getting disturbed when they r being called by the sellers 🤣. I don't blame them, they r foreigners it might be new for them, but i pity on Indians like u who don't even understand basic essence of Indian street shopping, just blabbering about a pattern/norm that's actually not meant for street sellers. For Indians who complain about basic Indian street culture, i have only one thing to say: America ka dalal behen**od

One tip: If you say you don't want it once, and still they bother you, just don't speak and ignore them. If you speak back, they take it as a sign that they might change your mind. It might seem rude, but that's how it is unfortunately. Neither they are wrong because they are trying to make a living, nor you are wrong because, well, "You don't want it" 😅

For all foreigners especially from western countries or if you are from a cold weather country, I will suggest if you want to travel to India come in July-Dec. (Seasons in India : Summer : Feb, March, April, May = please avoid in these months bcoz in India temp goes 35'c- 40'c +. And now with climate change we had heat waves in which temp went 45'c +. Rainy : June, July, Aug, Sept = come to India only If you are ok with rainy weather, mostly it will be cloudy, humid & wet. Winter : Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan = best for foreigners bcoz mostly you come from western countries where temp goes below 0'c in India depending on location but will be mostly between 0'c-15'c temp).

Hey guys, some of these stalls selling merch for 250 rupees or 150 rupees have fixed prices because they're already offering their merchandise at a very low cost. They often get bombarded with customers, so they've decided to keep the prices low and fixed to avoid investing too much time bargaining with each customer. They've set a price that works for both the customer and the seller. While Sarojini Nagar is known for bargaining, if you come across anything priced at less than 500 or 400 rupees being sold openly at a stall, I'd suggest not bargaining. However, you can definitely bargain at shops and showrooms, especially for items that are priced in the thousands of rupees or those sold in formal shops or showrooms. It's more common to negotiate prices in those settings compared to street stalls where prices might already be low and fixed.
