Is Taj Mahal made of marbles? An immense mausoleum of white marble, built in Agra between 1631 and 1648 by order of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favourite wife, the Taj Mahal is the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage.

Just a correction, the buildings which you guys called as east and west gates are not gates rather the one that is west of taj mahal is a mosque and the building on the east is guesthouse. As far as gates are concerned, the platform which is famous for princess Diana's picture picture actually sits in the middle of both the gates, that is western gate is on the western side of the platform and eastern gate is on the east of the platform.

@adamandyaz Жыл бұрын
Hey! It’s hard to say for sure without knowing which country you are from but I believe most people entering India will need a visa of some kind. We had to do ours at the Indian embassy in Nepal while we were there and the process was very long and expensive because at the time, UK citizens were not allowed to do an E-visa. Now though I believe most countries are eligible for it so it should just be a case of applying online, paying the fee and receiving it a few days later 😊
