I saw them on that tour in 1982 in San Diego at the Fox Theatre. it held maybe a thousand people, maybe less. and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. feels like yesterday. The live sound was better than the record. Just huge, but not over the top. the horns, the guitars, 2 drummers, and Adam was spot on with all of it. There was a kid that showed up dressed EXACTLY like Adam (the Indian paint pirate look) and Adam stopped the show and got a flash light and walked off the stage with the mic and talked to him for a min. it was LEGEND.

My work is playing an 80s mix now, and it's impressive: I know most of the songs intimately, but they threw in a lot of b-sides and lesser known tracks that I haven't heard since they were new... And a few curve balls like this gem: I KNEW I'd heard the artist before, and to that extent I was right...
