Absolutely brilliant. The 2 girls just looked so shocked when they were bitten by the snakes. The inside out roundhouse slider shot has got to be incredibly hard to play even if you get a paddle on it. It's coming in with fairly insane sidespin and pretty much flat to the table.
@2KSnSLifestyle2 жыл бұрын
The twins are just so amateurish. Adam could play the snakes simply because the twins hit the ball without any spin. With a spinning ball played by the Chinese players, Adam would have zero chance of doing the snake shot.

amazing matches, I need to learn how to be as strategically smart as you🤓 many people can't beat you even after knowing your play style because you adjust your tactics, change the pace, direction and spin of the ball very well👏👏
@cmoe13092 жыл бұрын
Tip : if you play table tennis (snake counter) To counter a snake bite, as soon as someone does a snake bite don't watch the movement of their hand coming up from the table watch the ball and you will be able to notice the type of spin on the ball. Lots of people get confused because they are taking note of the hand movement when someone snake bites. Also the ping-pong balls usually have trademarks on them you can also look at that and determine the spin on the ball when someone snake bites

I started playing table tennis this year at a club after playing at home casually for about 10 years and I have the exact same play style as you or at least I used to (I use it less now because I’m getting proper coaching and have quickly risen to the top of my state in a few months) my old style was snakes, backspin (mid point or serves), around the net, lob defence (I could never beat my brother by attacking as I was 5 years younger) and the forehand to backhand curve shot
@noah91302 жыл бұрын
I am exactly like you, except that I am a bit less experienced. I have always loved lobs, sidespin, snakes and basically everything that can mislead my opponent so that I can eventually attack to win the point. Unfortunately, since I started playing at clubs, coaches have always been trying (even forcing me) to change my style and play like everyone does which I don't want to do because I find it less amusing.

Love the videos and love the snakes. It's amazing at how much spin he gets. I think the key to tackling them is just being super aggressive and going for winners early. Adam's snakes come out in longer rallies. This is by no means a tried and tested strategy though. He is very, very good and seems a great guy.
@cyclopsvision63702 жыл бұрын
The key to deal with Adam's crazy snake spins is to hit the ball back right after it bounces on your side of the table, as the ball is still rising on the way up after the bounce. You can see, and track where the ball is going to bounce, so you should have a pretty good idea where it will go on the way up. It's path is very limited immediately after the bounce, but it's path will swerve wildly if you give the ball time to spin around and catch the air. Yes, this is counter to how most players are taught to return the ball on the downward trajectory, so you have the maximum amount of time to line up up return. On Adam's snake spins, time is your enemy.
@emissarygw2264 Жыл бұрын
@@cyclopsvision6370 I think you are wrong about this. It's swerving on impact with the table, not in the air after the bounce. So you really have three options... hit it exactly at the point of impact, which is pretty difficult; hit it early after impact and guess which way it goes; or wait until it hits, and react accordingly.
@Jackbrick1012 жыл бұрын

Great matches. Though if I were attempt to read the snakes, I'd say each time his inner elbow faces up when he swings at the ball it typically kicks out to the right off the bounce (from the camera angle). But when it faces down, ie the outer elbow faces up, it typically kicks to the left off the bounce. I wouldn't mind seeing more wristy tennis smashes when his lobs fall shorter on the table. A lot of side spin can be added if the player wanted.

According to google The defensive style of play You make the opponent's offensive actions as inefficient or risky as possible. This is a reactive approach. The purpose is to get the opponent to do mistakes, not being able to return the stroke. You do this with speed, spin (usually backspin) and placement, with the main focus on spin.

I think it limits the shot you can play against high defence.
