The German police destroy the most car meets. In Germany we have very strict rules about how we can convert our cars. The cars are tested by a testing center - TÜV - which makes the parts and the testing very expensive. We also can't build just any parts on our car, they need an appraisal. You can't imagine how difficult it is to convert your car in Germany. There are special groups in the police that deal with tuning. They do a three-week idle period and are then allowed to remove the permit from cars if they believe they have not been converted correctly. That costs around €1500 - even if the inspection agency says the car is fine. In Germany you are essentially a criminal if you modify your car.

as a dutch 8:40 that lifted Miata is registered in the Netherlands but its an import due to the numberplate(most likely US) same with the pink MX-5. they have the dutch numberplate format including black on yellow but without the EU seal due to plate holder size differences
