Hey Adam, always thought this process, was so interesting. Need your help tho.... So I have a all male African Cichlid Peacock tank. I was performing a water change a couple days ago and saw two babies! Imagine my shock! I never wanted to breed and apparently I do have a female in there, who knows maybe two. I have not been spending a lot of time watching them lately as my mom has been the the hospital. I imagine the rest were eaten. I have no clue what to do with these babies, I have an empty 10 gallon I could put them in. This is my first day off, so I can read articles online, but I hate feeling so inapt, unprepared. Would I kill the babies, using a fish net? I think I would have to remove all the big guys/ gal (apparently) first, before trying to catch the babies. I ordered a couple of sponge filters last night. The babies are hiding really nicely right now, but I'm scared the rest will get eaten😭. I only see two. Any advice on my next steps to try and save these babies would be SO appreciated.😲😱 Thanks!
@adamc79186 жыл бұрын
+Drea Parks haha this happens often. if you want them to live you'll definitely want to get them out of there. a 10 Gallon would do fine. if they are swimming around you should be able to gently net them out . when they are in your 10 Gallon you can feed them fry food or crushed up flakes. you feed them a few times a day. make sure and give them some places to hide
