Today, I tried the Flying Dragon knives for the first time, and for the price, they seem to be an interesting choice. Instead of the planned one-hour training, I ended up throwing for three hours. I just couldn’t stop. I’m as tired as a kitten and already looking forward to tomorrow’s training. And what’s more - from a design perspective, they are very well-made. Even now, as I’m sitting at the computer, I’m playing with one of them and constantly fiddling with it. 😀

Love your videos! I’ve been working on no spin for a while now. Keep in mind I don’t get to practice anywhere near what I need or should be doing. I watched this video and went out and tried the first method of half spin. Well beginners luck maybe but my first six throws stuck in nicely. Then maybe I got cocky because I started ‘not sticking’. I have to admit that grip doesn’t feel like I am controlling the knife but worked well !! Maybe because I’m just not used to it.

@AdamCeladin Those raw vids are awesome. I name my channel RAAW in the beginning because I did very little editing 😅 With your experience and presentation, it was smooth, no slow points, the CCs were helpful and bring a bit of movement to the video, so in my book, it was near perfect. Your camera had a hard time with autofocus, what do you film with ? Also, the sound is crisp !!! I need to get better at capturing sound. I'm happy, my last video is 1st of 10 since mooooonths 😁👊🔥

I love your videos. I throw no spin using the slide technique, I throw all the other traditional styles. But I've been excelling at the style that Tom Tom does a mix of Slang and index push off. I have been getting better at Skanf. I really want the Inertia pro thrower knife but they are always sold out. So I guess I'm going to get the Dragon fang it's very similar. Thanks for the great videos. I wouldn't be the thrower I am today if I hadn't found you on here.

@Blade-fy28 күн бұрын
I used to be able to stick no spin from 5-6 meters, but I used some weird technique. I would open my hand, put the knife flat on my palm and press it with my thumb and pinkie on the sides. When throwing, the flat side of the knife would be facing the target, and I would brush the knife with my whole hand unlike the usual no spin where you use the index finger. Is there a name for this technique?

Hey Adam, I’ve been practicing throwing knives for a while with help of your videos you’ve been making and it’s helped a lot. So far I’ve only been doing No-Spin and I think I’m ready to move onto Half-Spin but I want to practice it with the Glock 78 knife that I’ve noticed that you use a lot when you show Half-Spin. However I’ve been looking for it over the internet and I can’t seem to find anywhere to buy one similar to yours. So I was just hoping you could let me know where you got your Glock 78 so I can have one to practice Half-Spins with. Thank you so much and thank you for making all of these videos, it’s been a great help and I love your channel.

Ya know im not half bad at throwing. Not great and i wouldn't even say im good. However the other day my brother in law was over and i was doing my standard practice in the yard in my little area of the yard. I was practicing throwing my left hand non dominate in instinctive half spin and id aay i get it in about 60 percent of the time. He said how did you get that good i said well i started throwing left handed a couple years ago so just time and practice. And he was like wait 😊

Getting back into Throwing after more than two decades maybe three. It’s coming back slowly. Of course I’m over 65 now. Nonetheless the old skills are returning. My question is this. Do you use a “Flat” release or a vertical? I am trying to keep my blade orientation 12/6 or what I think of as vertical. Funny thing is that the blade is often reversed when it hits the target as though it spiraled like an American Football or a bullet. Several of my sets are sharp on only one edge so is easy to tell if the blade orientation has changed. It seems like this would cause some energy loss. Should I be trying to correct my release? Do I care? -Bill
@daviddittmore100519 күн бұрын
I was wondering about the bullet spin myself but after watching several videos I guess the bullet Spin is not a bad thing. D2 steel is as good as it gets. Acejets “stingers”!
@billware672119 күн бұрын
@ Did another session on Thanksgiving. If I use a MHS or Full Spin styles blade stays consistent. Only spirals when using No-Spin🤷🏼♂️
