This was a great series. The interviewer is perfectly sensitive and highly intelligent.

Excellent points! A majority of people who start training martial arts want the flashy stuff. Collecting techniques and attributes from others arts is useless without the thread that pulls it all together. Diligent work and concentrating on all the qualities that Adam mentioned is key to evolving! Do the work and don't worry about duplicating others, self discovery will lead you to personal liberation.

I have just watched the whole series in one go. It's like a deep dive. Brilliant! Thank you so much for sharing! The ending is funny though:))) I was shy and depressed but since I learn martial art, I start to feel more confident to accept good and bad things, to look at thing like yin and yang. I want to share my journey online because I hope it can help some people with their personal development and I can have feedback to adjust my stuffs too. It's not like broadcasting and show-off but it's like I'm so happy and I wanna share it.

Keep doing what you're doing, Adam. I'd be stuck on a plateau the size of Texas if not for you!

I really appreciated this interview. Hearing your experiences training with people has made me appreciate my own Sifu even more, and how ridiculously lucky I've been. A lot of what you've said, I've heard before too. The newer students in class, I need to train them so they can challenge and push me, and then there's an older student who I need to visit so I can play that role and learn myself. Like always, thank you Adam.

I agree with everything you said except you might have mentioned emotion. We are all nice guys in the kwoon but the guys we will have to face are not like us. Generally, they are not encumbered by morality or concern for their own wellbeing & are thus liberated. One must learn to accept fear and trust the art.

The full circle - yin and yang. It's natural - don't over think it. Practice develops the art.
