One of my favorite waltzes from the "Russian" period of Johann II's career in a beautiful version performed by Maestro Stolz. Among all the electrifying melodies of this excellent opus, I like particularly the 5th waltz section (5:33).

Never heard of this wonderful waltz by Johann Strauss Sohn before, but it plays very beautiful. Great job!
Fantastisc, I am working as music-scientist about the theme Johann Strauss and his relationship to Richard Wagner. I am looking for a direct Zitat by Strauss at music by Wagner. Some introductions of waltzes written in the 1850's sound like works of Wagner. Do you know which one owns a direct Zitat? Many greetings from northern germany.

Maybe you should try to study the scores of "Simplizius" or "Ritter Pasman", i.e. Strauss late stage works partially inspired in their styles by Wagner music. I'am not an expert on Wagner, however, to state whether there are any direct citations from Wagner, but it may be an interesting way of investigation.
