Beautiful sunset colors. Always like the way you compose your photos. Slight changes can really add to a shot! Also liked the heron shot. Wildlife that includes landscape resonates with me.

Always love your photos. I feel for you locking your keys in the car. Last year I lost my key on the trail and had no spare. Lock smith cut a new key and that cost me $150. I now have a hidden key.

I have a screw on CPL and a 15 stop ND…. Both work great, I’ve been using them for years, although those magnetic filters look awesome 😊

Using an older crop sensor camera with limited dynamic range and worse signal to noise ratio, I stll find my self using filters quite often in the field. I also don't like post processing enough to do a lot of bracketing and exposure-blending, if not necessary. Filters for me at least remain a significant part of my equipment, no matter what many photographers say about them

Lovely sunset shot at 7:46 in the video! Nice soft lines and colours. I think you might be more intrigued with the bottom of Little Mtn on a misty day. Not that I've ever managed to make a good image of those cool rock formations, but there are some nice trees and interesting bogs at the very bottom I've had a bit of success with. I might go check out Payzant Creek on Friday. Looks to me like an hour or two after sunrise might be good. Or is the angle of light better nearer sunset?

Payzant is probably best on a cloudy day

Great Video Adam Question for you on the Kase filters….. I see you have the 77-82mm step up ring in your ‘stack’, and you also have the magnetic ‘back’ cap. Can I ask if the back cam is 77mm so it always sits on the step up ring, and all the filters then sit in that, or is it an 82mm back cap too - that also fits on the back of the 77mm side of the step up ring?!!?
@QuietLightPhoto10 ай бұрын
I just have the one 67-82 step up ring. The new lens caps do seem to fit over all of the filters and that ring. I'm not sure if they're designed that way or just happen to fit. Best ask Kase directly.
@fernandosantos857310 ай бұрын
Awesome video as usual. I have a question about the new Kase round magnetic adapter ring that is screwed to the lens. Does that work with old step-up rings, the ones that are screwed to the front of the lens or do we need to purchase the new inlaid step-up rings? Thanks

I believe it does but you might want to contact Kase beforehand just to make sure

Beautiful shots as expected! But where can I find the affiliate links for the car break-in tools?

I hide my spare key in a magnetic box on the underside of my van. That way its always with the van. More risk of it being found I guess, but dont imagine many thieves spending time under a vehicle they want to break in or steal to try and find a hidden box. Most thefts are opportunistic.

Now that modern cars have remote key fobs that don't fit in your wallet, I put my second key fob on the same chain as my dog tags from my Navy days as well as an emergency whistle and hang them all around my neck. Yeah, it's a bit clunky, but at least I know I have them available if I lose the primary set or the battery in the primary key fob dies.

I thought I was going to add a new word to my vocabulary when, early in the video, Adam commented on Taffeny-shaped rocks. I had never run across this word, But Googling it under several different spellings, I came up empty. Can someone tell me what shape this term is intended to describe and how to spell the word?

Have you looked at the K&F magnetic filter-system? It's much less expensive, while offering good optical and also build-quality. Not the Same, but close enough to satisfy in my opinion.
