Adam, I just want to say that I really appreciate that you show the RAW file before you show the final image. Of all the KZbin photographers I follow, I think you are the only one who consistently does that.

Adam. That last sequence of photos was mind-blowingly tasty! Absolutely stunning. Your vlogs (particularly this one) are a constant reminder that patience and determination are the real keys to excellent landscape photography. The light is truly everything! Thanks for keeping me alert to the fact that waiting for the light to be right is the most essential thing I can do to improve my "keepers".

I don't care if these mountains have been photographed before. As I live in a cave, I haven't seen them so your images are the first, and they are amazing! To be honest, as this is the first time you have seen them, it doesn't really matter what everyone else has done as these are your first images. I suppose the issue is in researching the location you cant avoid seeing images which can prejudice your own thought processes?

You mentioned the dumpster. I follow a few young "punk" film photographers who would go straight for that dumpster in the foreground and mountains in the background just to get a different perspective.
@infrequentgamer_greg7 ай бұрын
Adam, I enjoyed the scenic location, but as I was watching this video, I was thinking you were like a "fish out of water" because this was not your preferred "quiet light" scenario, but was a rather different "grand light" scenario. You've mentioned many times in the past, that shooting the grand scene is not your thing. So let me ask you will you ever return to shoot at the Torres del Paine? Were you ever able to find any quiet light images? Is a stunning location like this not worth visiting for "quiet light" shooters?
@QuietLightPhoto6 ай бұрын
As much as I enjoyed my stay I will probably not do a revisit

I always come upon an area as if it's the first time I've ever seen it, even if I was there before. Weather and light can be different and the person trying to steal your shot. lol. Never know if you think outside the box you may find that shot that people pass up!
