Wow, just stumbled across your channel after watching your loft hunting video and I just gotta say, keep up the great work man!! Really great content, very entertaining, I can tell you put a lot of creativity and work into your videos, and it pays off. Love the colour grading and the city shots too. As someone living in Vancouver, you make it look so pretty haha. Excited to see more of your stuff man!

Thanks ! I'm super happy with it. I actually asked this company if they would exchange content and licensed content for benign s et of their panels, so that is what I did, but I think they would have come to just over $100 CAD? Wood Veneer Hub

I find it crazy no one owns tools these days. I also live in an apartment but I have a whole set from saws, drills and sanders. I bought my place almost 2 years ago now, but did some reno work myself and between me and a friend of mine we didn't need to buy any extra tools, other than this fancy drywall hole saw.

I ain't even got a storage locker in this apartment haha. BUT im slowly adding to my arsenal of tools. I had a ton when I lived at home years back in the big house, but had to shed weight! haha

Enjoy the video as I am planning to retire to vanity, and Kits and West Point Grey are my target areas. I have a few comments about your colour balance, and consistency. I love shooting with log too, but you are mixing up log footage with 8 bit and the colour grading isn't consistent, nor is the white balance. In many shots, the lighting is placed into the midtowns with little in the shadows. being down the shadows will improve the look. I suggest using a Calibrite white balance card for video to nail the white balance, then adjust luminance and saturation get things balanced. You are also applying grades inconsistently across clips which looks accidental. Then if you want to grade the colour, you can do it consistently across all clips shot on all cameras. Drop me a not if you have any questions - email is on the main page. I struggles with balancing and grading when I first got started with log. It gets easy after a while. better still, after you've graded outside in club, bright light and low light inside and out, you can create a template so you don't have to grade each clip every time. You can easily set up a template or presets depending on your NLE.
