@@DylanTheFlump you can for sure get a b58 for less than 100k. A used f30 340i cant be more than 30-40k for an alright example.

⁠@@jynxcs838depends on the country. Different countries have different import fees and tariffs. Sales taxes and federal excise tax on top of customs fees can really make something cheap in one country an entirely different price bracket by time it is received in another country.

I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking how cool it was but if I were to ever do it.. I'd probably just go the turbolamik TCU route. Every video I've seen on it seems like it just works.

Jimmy had a VW Golf with a DCT, he rebuilt the trans with OEM parts because it wasn't happy & I think it was still problematic but I don't think we, in KZbin land ever heard what happed to it.

In the end, it's a Rough World. 😁 Nakaisan is an artist/designer, and his customers love his style of "fashion" (credit: Brian Scotto) The purists are always gonna hate because of the supposed sacrilege of vintage years/models and the way these custom builds are making the vehicles harder and harder to obtain financially. As far as build quality, listen to a current owner of just the second North American RWB (Hoonigan), Brian Scotto...13yrs and the work Nakai has done is still holding up just fine.
