Adam at the 10:02 mark check out the spark jump as soon as he let off. Facing the engine to the right of the valve cover, fuel rail, harness area. You can see the spark jump.

Damn reminds me of my 2000 E46 323i (same Steel Grey ) I-had bought brand new waited 6 months for it to com fro Germany fully Dinan it as soon as I got it then need more power they didn’t make a four-door E46 ///M3 so i swapped the engine to 328 with the ZHP cams and super charged with a ASA Supercharger way back in 2004. It still runs today all I did was put bigger injectors a bigger pulley fuel pressure regulator and Apexi fuel controller and it runs phenomenal off the stock ECU.

My dad bought his E46 325i around the same time Adam bought his, neat. Except my dad got a manual lol. It's a bit beat up these days, and has a bit of ticking in the motor, but it's a fun car. His plan is to eventually LS swap it when his current motor inevitably kicks the bucket with the way he beats on it lol.

its probs just vanos tick, I put 250k on my M54 & when I had to replace the valves (cuz I money shifted) I checked all the rod & main bearings, they were all MINT. These motors are something else.

I dunno. I bought back my 330ci which was still basically perfect body wise, bought the same wheels I had on it, fixed all the mechanical issues, and had it reupholstered, and it is like the day I got it. It’s in my garage, and it’s literally like going back in time when I drive it to a point in life that was awesome and I was so proud of that car. It’s original paint is mint after having minor corrections done professionally. If I added power to it, it just wouldn’t give me that nostalgic time capsule vibe..

I had a new engine put in from the most mint 330ci I’ve ever seen and I helped them pull it out of the car and I wanted the interior so bad back then because it was icy mint and literally had new car smell, but I didn’t have the budget. After I sold it, I bought it back 3 years later on Craigslist when I was much more financially stable, and put in a new manual trans and had the interior reupholstered and sourced the original wheels I had on it, not stock, and had the paint put to mint. They only put 15k on it and really did a lot of damage to the interior and manual trans which is why they sold it.

That bottom mount is almost the exact same i made for a customer that has a e30 made in to a m3 touring, yes with the s14b25 which has a precision 67mm GT28. Very limited space to work with but it looks almost like the car is still N/A when you open the hood.

Low mount turbos should have a mini sump under them for the scavenge pump to pull from otherwise it's just sucking oil through the turbo staving the turbo of abit of lubrication.
