Hey man, quick story. I started this platinum back in 2015 when I was 14 and I got about half way through before exams came around, then for the next 4 years gcses and A Levels always got in the way of me going back to it. But I watched this video and all the memories just came pouring back, I booted up my ps3 - and promised myself to platinum the entire uncharted series. So I got the complete all treasure in game reward, but I noticed I didn't install a patch for the game and my trophies weren't registed, so I had to play it on Hard, Crushing and get all the collectibles a second time. It was a joy - Im so happy I got complete something ive been putting off for 5 years. You've re ignited my passion for trophy hunting, Thank You!

Playing the Uncharted Nathan Drake collection was amazing. I played the trilogy during the pandemic and it definitely help me with entertainment and coping during those times. However I did rage quit at brutal mode a lot of the times.

I decided I'd revisit the series, so I got the remastered trilogy back in January of last year (or the year before, don't remember), and I ended up beating all 3 in a month, and getting the Platinums in the weeks inbetween. It was quite a fun month. Watching this has made me realize that I have forgotten the pain of Crushing difficulty, and instead replaced it with the pain of Brutal difficulty. I can guarantee, beating Brutal is only worth it if you love having bragging rights and trophies that few others have. But I digress, I enjoyed watching the video, Adam. It was a lot of fun going back and basically reliving my own Platinum Journey. Looking forward to the next video.

This is exactly why I upload the episodes on Saturdays. Most people are off work, the weekend has started, taking it easier, plenty of time to enjoy a full episode of Platinum Journey. The zombie bit can be divisive. For some it ruined the game, for others it enhanced it. I personally like the change up. Although they did overplay it by doing it again in 2 and 3.

@@gallantmon4 I don't see the story being much different to crushing. With God Mode, I went from the easiest difficulty to the hardest. So that intrigued me. Doing Grounded Mode was an excuse to replay The Last of Us again with a new difficulty. Brutal for Uncharted does not look enjoyable. I think I'll pass for now but may try it in my spare time.

There is a trick to surviving the "blue room" at the end of Level 5 (The Fortress) on harder difficulties. The enemies do not spawn until you jump down into this room, and you can't jump back up the way you came. But there is a way to make the enemies spawn before you jump down. Once you make it to the ledge where you can look into the blue room, go back the way you came until you get outside where the mini-gun is. Press triangle to use it and shoot it for 5-10 seconds. This will make the enemies in the blue room spawn, so when you go back they are all running around. You can shoot at them from the (relative) safety of the ledge above, backing up when you need to regain health. This also leads to a funny moment when the first wave of blue room enemies are defeated. At this point enemies jump down from this very corner. You will see 2 enemies appear on the same ledge area you are at and jump down into the blue room - they do not see you up here until they are on the blue room floor. One of these 2 enemies will even freeze temporarily in this ledge area before they jump down. Obviously you wouldn't do this when you're doing this level on a speedrun for the trophy, as it takes time to go all the way back to the minigun, and then back to the blue room again.

@@AdamMcDermott I can't take credit for it - I saw this on a "Tips and Tricks to completing Uncharted 1" video. That room is hard enough on Normal and Hard mode doing it the normal way (jumping down and fighting everyone there), I can't imagine doing it that way on Crushing (or Brutal) difficulty.

i got drakes fortune and among thieves plats this month and for anyone starting on the journey, uncharted 1 on crushing is significantly more difficult than 2 crushing, i hate that the first one simply didnt seem to care how accurate i was (up to 4 head shots per enemy), the second was so much more fun

If you have trouble with the blue room you can go out and shoot the turret it will bring out the enemies and you can kill them in the arch way before you drop down

Hey Adam it's my first time on crushing difficulty and i Just beat the blue Room on chapter 5 of uncharted drakes fortune after only 3 ATTEMPTS!! using Nate's primary MAKAROV PM and secondary weapon AK-47 and hand to hand combat. Didn't need tweaks,cheats,work arounds or anything nailed it after 3 tries which impressed me because that room has next to no cover and the cover your supplied with always leaves you like a sitting duck. Adam= 10 attempts Me= 3 attempts

the big proplem is the extra trophies and one of them is brutal and they werent kidding when they called it brutal for example in brutal mode every time you take amo it only gives you 1-4 bullets

The generator room section was so hard, it literally made the game unplayable for me. I couldn't get past it so I never finished the game. I usually play on normal, and I don't remember if I tried lowering the difficulty or not (or even if I knew how to back then). I don't know if it was just me or if that section was actually difficult. Glad to see that I wasn't the only one freaked out by those creepy creatures though!

I bought this game in 2007 in Swords. I have finished it 9 times so far including remaster edition.

I just platinumed the PS4 Version of this game. Like with "the last of us" i followed a speedrun for the crushing difficulty. It was quite fun because you can literally skip chapters by glitching through walls :D (thank god for that, I don't think I could handle a crushing run in the bunker). It's a decent game, but it's my least favorite. For those having problems with the 250 headshot trophy: mine unlocked at around 470 headshots.

This is the only Platinum I have gotten in my life... I'm working on getting it again on ps4 and Uncharted 2 and 3 😂😂😂 Great video! Watching you getting your ass kicked several times in the flodded part made feel happy 'cause I wasn't the only one who almost cried there 😂😂😂
