How do YOU know a comment or reviewer ‘has no skills or accolades?’ You’ll only listen to ppl w/ money & accolades? GROSS! She’s acting like she is the most well versed poet of our generation. This whole thing lacks ANY self awareness & it rly doesn’t seem like she knows that at all which is giving me such bad second hand embarrassment.

Not to mention that she was saying in the initial interview that it started as her "just tweeting poetry" so by that same metric, the same could be asked of her
@weaversong70212 ай бұрын
Gabby interpreting the question about dissociating from being a meme the way she did is so telling. It's like she's completely unable or unwilling to consider the possibility that her audience may see her in a negative light, i.e. as a meme persona and not an individual because of her actions on the internet, and not that everyone thinks of her as a bubbly and energetic
@play-fool2 ай бұрын
I think people over-apply the term most of the time, but she really does display classic narcissistic behavior, as regardless of having NPD, anyone can have or develop detrimental narcissism. One of the biggest signatures of it is a lack of self-awareness - sometimes it's just that they're displaying a lack of awareness so that other people don't think they are affected by what is said about them, but sometimes they just truly don't get how they are being perceived, and most do a little of both. For Gabby it seems like a dose of both but primarily the first one the longer she has retained an audience and thus has had access to public opinion of herself.

@@heartz4juni Ahhhh I honestly recommend either searching for articles abt picasso being problematic or any experienced his muse published after a bit - his first muse Fernande recounts that he would lock her in a room anytime he would leave the house for hours bc he was incredibly jealous that she'd meet someone, she was the one who adopted a child and had to return the child to an orphanage due to picasso making explicit art of the kid, and once he became successful he abandoned her financially and emotionally despite being the muse to the art that was getting attention two of the women in his life ended up committing su*cide after their time with him and a friend was once quoted saying he "submitted them to his animal sexuality, tamed them, bewitched them, ingested them, and crushed them onto his canvas. After he had spent many nights extracting their essence, once they were bled dry, he would dispose of them." Honestly some of the stuff is so public i found the last quote on picassos wiki page under personal life if ur not an article reader!!! wiki has the sources linked as well so that's nice but YESSS picasso was emotionally abusive - maybe not physically or violently but the fact that he felt so comfortable destroying multiple womens self esteem really gives me pause when ppl sing his praise
