Fall practice changed everything for me, I was terrified of falling and coming away from a top rope onto lead was a huge thing. Recently indoor my friends encouraged me to try some fall practice and it has really made me start to embrace and love lead so much more. I now cant wait to lead outdoors and I don't fear the whippers so much now, I am actually starting to enjoy them.

Haha wait until the lockdown reaches your countries! I was on a climbing trip in Spain until yesterday. Yesterday the Guardia Civil closed our camp in Chulilla. The climber lifestyle is now illegal in Spain. It's illegal to live in a van and it's illegal to climb (outdoors aswell). We are all on our way back home now, one of the only legally justified reasons to still be outside in Spain.

I am 6 ft 4 and 92kg and i got dropped to the floor 3 times by 3 different belayers from quite high up....this more or less killed lead climbing for me. Still do some short trad stuff but those experiences conditioned me in the exact opposite way to how the sports psychologist described Adams conditioning. It really sucks as well because it was probably my favourite form of climbing. Moral of the story....don't trust absent minded belayers.
