Hey Adam, Cool build man!!! I did almost the exact same as you. I wish you lived in NC, I would have you come by and help me with changing mine to aluminum. My boat is a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd. I was Going to start with the 500 dollar kit on TB and I guess go from there. I heard on TB that aluminum is actually not lighter. I admit it is awesome looking. I would like to know have you noticed a difference? Thanks for the video and inspiration!!! Stay Blessed...

Hi Adam, a guy after my own heart. Loved the time and labor you put into this video. Really a lot of detail and info for any DIY'er. Coming from an old DYI'er with a fishing Kayak, and years ago used to own an Aluminum Express Bass Boat. What would your Jon Boat just like that, just the Boat Boat Material, everything but Outboard & Trolling Motors and No Batteries Cost me to duplicate your build??? Gestimation??? Thanks Adam... I probably don't have the patients to be as thirough as you!

I remember when you purchased this boat and did the 1st build. I would not consider it a death trap. It was a functional but a heavy boat. That served you well for the time you used it. I was watching your time lapse thinking, this would be amazing if he did a commentary... Done! Possible one of the best bass boat build videos out there. Thanks for sharing the process. My only question is why three batteries? It seems like that big zoom lithium should run your trolling motor and the little Dakota could run your electronics. Maybe I'm missing something?!?
@AdamRyanA2 жыл бұрын
I made this video just for you 😜 the garmin black box pulls a lot of power so I wanted it to have its own battery, it also constantly pulls power even not in use so I didn’t want it draining power for other electronics invade I forget to disconnect the battery, also I wanted the trolling motor to have its own battery so I can run it all day without worrying about it, since it’s a lifeline if the big motor doesn’t start, so that’s why I got 3, I’m sitting at 91 pounds in battery weight, which is better then the 120 on the last build, and I’m gonna switch the lead acid trolling motor battery to lithium as well so that will drop total battery weight to 56 pounds once I do that

Hey there Adam Im new to your channel and its awesome. Im considering doing something similar with the jon boat to bass boat. Im curious all in how much $ this time around. I know you said you order a lot from tiny boats etc and had certain metal piece done at another place. Im just getting into all this and ive never had a boat b4 so i can really appreciate all youve learnt and done in both builds. I dont think ur first build was a death trap at all. We live and we learn, thats what makes life so great. I totally wouldve done the same thing had i not watched so many videos. Atleast you were able to salvage it. So ya im wonder cost of this build with the plain jon boat. And id like to know if the foam truly helped her sit higher etc. If speed is better too etc because of the foam? Keep up the awesome content and ty for sharing this with all of us.
