I think that delay with the throttle has to do with the heavy flywheel , I think a light flywheel will make it more responsive . But once you get used to the heavy flywheel , it’s no biggie .

@@exgtt2061 for real ! here in America we have the civic Si , my Si has this annoying rev hang . I have a kpro so most of it is gone , but I can tell a lighter flywheel will make it so much more responsive in the revs . But for real , so annoying

Looks like it really puts its power down well, great review. Remus responder is good for solving that throttle peddle delay and making it a bit more responsive. The fk8 switched to a single mass flywheel from a dual mass in the fk2 which I think is what gives that slight rev hang. Would love to see an fk8 on the channel too.

Love these cars civics just love civics I do own an R18 ESI which is very comfy and surprisingly nippy had 130mph black love it but would love a Type R this particular type R would be a dream it’s the running costs and insurance that stops me going for the sportier options maybe one day I’ll get myself that hot rod I deserve cheers Ricky all the best mate 🖖😷⚒

@@davidkelly2542 it's shite compared to a fk8 mate !! Hasn't got independent rear suspension, fk2 has the rear torsion beam setup. Although I haven't drove a fk2 i know people that have owned a fk2 as well as the new fk8

The FK2 embodies everything a Type R should be and the FK8 was designed for the America Market which ultimately was its demise. It has no soul.
