to be totally honest I think I'm buying a Sonic for my own use.

Testing a Sonic right now. Why is there no water key on first valve? Seems a big design omission on a horn with vertical slides. Horizontal models the water can travel elsewhere, but the only way to clear the slide on the Sonic is to pull it and dump it. IF I decide to keep it, I'll be adding an Amado to that slide. Just thinking that should be a standard part of the design.

How would you compare that deep cup and rim to? say as compared to Giardinelli or Stork

Our fd cup is deep. Prob deeper than their deepest. Our Mdf is not much shallower just a slightly more efficient v shape. Both are lovely for a nice deep tone.

This Sonic to me sounds better than the F1, F2 and F5 demo you did.
