I've just watched your clip above the bridge in knaresbro, that section ov river is full ov Chub, Barbel n Dace. It's worth a proper bash.

@LUKE Holmes barbel a lot further down mate below lido I've fished Knaresborough section for 20 years and never caught a barbel from there or heard of anyone catching one. Chub are scarse on that section now compared to when I first started fishing that section. If I'm honest it's mostly trout now and grayling. Lots of otters on that section of the Nidd now

I caught my first barbel from there, opposite mother shiptons cave. Probably around 27yrs ago now. Nice vid, ever fancied picking up a fly rod for those trout? Much more sporting.
