He started with Russian and changed to Mandarin in this performance. He can sing at least 12 different languages which included Mandarin, Cantonese, English, Russian, Ukraine, Polish, Japanese, Hindi, French, Italian, Thai, Spanish, etc........He studied Classical music in Ulkiane and graduated after 3 years. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music to introduce them to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is extremely wide and his breath control is extremely good. Zhou Shen never ceases to amaze me. I Love his falsetto staccato notes . Always on point. I've certain artists I put up on the top shelf that I Listen to and Zhou Shen is one of them. My playlists consist of Dimash, Zhou Shen, Hua Chen Yu, Avi Kaplan, Shoshana Bean, Misia and more. I have a Zhou Shen playlist with 139 songs by him and it is enhanced so stuff is added all the time (of course that means removing the non Shen music recommended). Zhou Shen did a wonderful job covering these songs. Our angel voice is one of the best. 👍 I second the request for Dalabengba. There is a version with English CCs: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3yQZ5-jnM-Fa6M It's a song about a video game and tells a typical fantasy role playing story. It's just a fun song but it is special for two reasons: - Zhou Shen sings each character in a different voice. There is a little girl, the hero, the king, the narrator and the dragon (not counting the baby and the princess at the very end of the song). - The characters have ridiculously long names. E.g. the young hero is called „Dalabengba Bandebeidi Buduobiluweng“. All the names are basically nonsensical Chinese tongue twisters. This song was originally written for and sang by Vocaloids (a singing voice synthesizer software product). The song was never meant to be sung by a human. To remember and sing these long names at fast speed (as the song progresses) is a very difficult task. Zhou Shen was taking a risk to perform this song on a competition show.

It’s his own way of saying: Nah, being perfect is too boring. Reminds me of his fun loving nature. Total prankster. 😂 The original from Pu Shu of this song was super gloomy. Zhou Shen made this song feels like the singer was singing some part of his dark history. In the end it’s his way of saying no need to dwell in the past. The story was the guy travel with his girlfriend and was dumped. He ended up wandering and singing in bars and have no home to return to. Zhou Shen the only guy made the song into American country rock and Bel Canto mix. 😂

there is a song called doomsday spaceship wrote by tang han xiao who sang with zhou shen. it is a very different song that you don't hear from other singers. I think it is kind like pink floyd music.

He never fails to amaze. There are only 2 times I know of where things didn’t quite go right for him as he was pushed in to it so please don’t watch the Super Vocal versions of Big Fish or Think of Me (both of which done excellently elsewhere). Everything else is simply brilliant. Please, please continue to check out his stuff. for sure your answer on my comment will be something like each on their own, and of course that is true, but for my taste it's too slick, no edges. he sings about giving up a relationship and all i hear is - without understanding the language- some pretty sung song. it doesn't fit to my understanding of emotion i expect to hear in music. for instance, susanne sundfor and silencer, where you also have heavenly perfect vocals, but the darness is inside the apparent dark lyrics. if i was heartbroken my song would for sure sound very different.
