Welcome to Zhou Shen's family. FYI, all of Zhou Shen's performances have not been autotuned whatsoever and he always sings with a full open mic which not so many artists will do nowadays because of their abilities. By the way, you only listen to 1% of Zhou Shen's talents based on this video. He can sing at least 12 different languages which included Mandarin, Cantonese, English, Russian, Ukraine, Polish, Japanese, Hindi, French, Italian, Thai, Spanish, etc........ He can even sing 6 different voices in one song. His music has so many different genres. To tell you a bit about Zhou Shen's background. He is from China. He got bullied when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names like a sissy or he sounded like a woman etc..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now all around the world. He studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changed to study Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music to introduce them to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is extremely wide and his breath control is extremely good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy. If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people,'s, souls. Zhou Shen's music is one of them that can heal your soul. I don't think Sa DinDing could have chosen another singer to be by his side in this performance!! I always dreamed of it because when I first heard Zhou Shen I loved him and when I heard this song in the Ashes of Love series it seemed wonderful to me and I knew that the only one who could sing it was Zhoy Shen. Luckily my dream came true!! Not to love Zhoy Shen is impossible because all the interpretations of him are beautiful, soft and sweet, he is really a balm for the soul. In China, Zhou Shen is not the only male vocalist who can signs in an angelic female voice. You have fallen down the Zhou Shen rabbit hole, there is no parachute, you are in fee fall… but it’s so worth it! There is a purity and emotion to his voice that can (and does) make grown men cry when heard for the first time. I’d suggest Dalabengba for the sheer fun of it, Ring the Doorbell is sang in a lower register, but Time to Say Goodbye, Memory and Huan Yan are early performances - the last of these (2014) was the first time he showed himself while singing (he’d been performing on the internet but never visually) if you watch you can see his confidence growing as people applaud rather than jeer/mock him. Big Fish is his signature piece, Let it Go is performed in nine languages… and we are still falling. I hope you you listen to more ZS even if only for your own pleasure.

Their first one is called "Flower walking freely" (or "Free walking flower"), which is also amazing. I'm not too familiar with Sa Dingding's other works but I've watched many Zhou Shen performances (also called Charlie Zhou because Charlie is his Western name or Shen Shen as his fans call him). He does not always sing that high but he hardly uses his tenor voice and most of the times he prefers the upper register. Sa Ding Ding was a support actress for "Ashes Of Love", one of the best dramas ever, when she wrote this song during her time on the set. The drama itself was very influential with it's incredible and amazing production and acting. I will never forget this drama, it is my favorite and this OST is one of my favorites too. With Charlie Zhou Shen, Sa Ding Ding got it spot on by choosing him to do this chilling duet.

all i can think of whenever i see this production is during rehearsals for the concert, they wanted to keep the songs selected and the artists that will perform a secret. but because sa ding ding and zhou shen's vocals were so good, they were heard a few blocks down the concert venue during rehersals and ended up spoiling the song and singers😂

Strap in as this is one amazing rabbit hole to go down. His output is as rediculous as his talent. He did a long live stream for his 30th birthday last week (29/9) which has been split up on the Zhou Shen Fan Club channel. To hear his lower range probably go for Delabengba where he plays five diffent characters in a story.
