Your hair would be much easier to style, lay down better and have more wave/curl definition if you style it while wet. It will also mean less product you need to use. Keep a small spray bottle filled with purified water that you can spray on before applying your products.

What gel do you use I needed a gel that is not water based after 60 min My hair starts to Curl up the edges
