Fun fact about buster sword wielding: Zack and Angeal carry the buster sword with the sharp edge facing "down", so that it is not used when attacking (as stated in the video). Cloud, however, never learned the lesson about the "wear, tear and rust", as Zack never had the chance to tell him about it, and thus carries the sword the oposite way on his back (with the sharp edge facing upward). Such a small, yet emotional detail.

Here some more: - Zack, as well as Angeal, were created by using the original concept for the main character of final fantasy 7, who, at that time, wasn't given a name yet and was supposed to be a dark hairded, outgoing and positive young man. But that was changed, since they wanted a more fragile and weakminded protagonist to contrast sephiroth. - Not only is Zack the only known SOLDIER 1st Class who isn't a jenova Hybrid, but he is also the strongest soldier after sephiroth himself. making him the actual strongest human in the ff7 world. - Zack is immune to jenovas influence. the reason is not really explained, but zack is not only a strong minded and positive person for show, since he is actually directly stated to be immune to the jenova cells, which Hojo injected in him and Cloud. first it was speculated that this was due to his exposure of mako since he was already a member of soldier and cloud wasn't. However, mako exposure does not affect the jenova cells, so that can't be the reason. Jenova simply couldn't control or affect him, which contrasts Cloud, who is very easily affected by jenova as well as sephiroth. He has never shown signs of negetive symptoms either. - In the advent children movie (full version) Zack appears to Cloud mid fight and asks if he needs a hand in "dealing with sephiroth". Not only does that imply that he is cinfident in fighting the likes of sephiroth alone, but this also pushes cloud into succeeding himself since he always told cloud "if I can do it, you can too."

Been thinking about it as well. Sure, he underwent mako surgery and there's probably other strong humans out there, but Zack is def the prime example of a peak human in terms of prowess and skill. Setting aside that the first three are JENOVA experiments, Zack was likely the strongest SOLDIER as a human.

Zack was my favorite character from the original FF7. I've been playing Final Fantasy for over 30 years and back in the day a lot of people liked Zack from FF7 even before Crisis Core came to be. 97-06 era there was tons of Zack fanart and shrines more than there was for half the main cast. Zack was a top 5 character in a game he barely appeared in. The FF7 devs got questions about Zack on a regular basis. So yeah Zack was a significant character who was up there in popularity even before he got his own game. Still regularly ranks in the top 10 of the franchise whenever there's a poll or a survey.

The screentime vs the influence on the story is so funny. He has had so much impact on the characters and the story but was barely seen in the main game. I love him so much😭. Great video though I did not know he got his own fan club in the game

Buster sword gets passed on a few times before to cloud. Cool history. Costa del sol is a great place for vacation. I remember many nice women there

first of all, loved it, second, i didn't knew zack has it's own anime, name please, and final, it's an awesome video, i don't understand why it has so little views, deffinitly i'm subsccribing and sharing this
