We are a special needs family and we face a lot of challenges that other families don't face but we love, laugh, and most importantly we never give up when times are tough. Our family survived a house fire and instead of letting it tear us apart, tragedy has brought us all together and made us stronger. I skipped the 4th of July celebration yesterday because I wasn’t feeling it. I have noise canceling headphones for the fireworks, but I was exhausted after cleaning 🧹 out my apartment yesterday afternoon. Today some people came in and did a deep cleaning since I have a hard time with that. I’m tire easily.

@@JarodFalk Autumn is actually unable to swim without assistance but maybe someday.

@@RaisingAutumn gotcha! I was an athlete in the 2018 Special Olympics USA games swimming, came out with gold, bronze, silver. I am diagnosed with autism. In Special Olympics, athletes have to be able to swim one length of the pool. I no longer do that as I have future ambitions for my career in Human Resources, in school currently.
