I know it's easy for me to just say this, but I would look into electric assist. You can still have your work out and reduce the assist as you get better, but you still have that boost when you get drained.

Very cool! I love that it has the back wheel to prevent tipping back. Do they have gears? Or can come with gears? Could help on the hills. Shifting is probably an issue for C levels, though I have a C5 friend that made an electronic shifter that he actuates with his chin on a device with two buttons that he kind of wears around his neck like a necklace while he rides his racing bike.

No gears available so yes hills are tricky.

A couple of questions Can it be operated in reverse ? Is to rear swivel where able to fold away for inside use or have a quick release removal system ? Is there a close up demonstration video of how the steering and gear function functions work ? And he fold up and transport procedure. And one important observation and concern being overlooked & forgotten here is.... These products are firstly supposed to be about helping those with disabilities obtain some more freedom. Third world countries are recognizimg this and helping create products that even the poorest can obtain We are not purchasing a car here, and with better community & govt input support these products could be produced and even subsidized for a much lower and more realistic price . And then everyone wins. These products should cost no more than a warehouse or bulk store retail price. 2 or 3 hundred would be a more realistic price 🙂🙏

I don't think so. It's a one size fits most. They have ways to make it fit most people

One question, let's say your going down hill, you get some quite hefty branches Infront of you. You think no problem and try to go over them. Then no chance, too thick so you need to back up. How do you reverse?? 😀
@sally-annc1904 Жыл бұрын
Hmmm, think they thought of that ;-) From the manual: disengage the drive on both levers and lay them in their resting position. Then push on the wheels, as if the Trike were a standard wheelchair,
@tuffy22423 жыл бұрын
is this trike harder or easier to push uphill than a wheelchair with a freewheel attachment? thanks
@AdaptToPerform3 жыл бұрын
If the hill is smooth freewheel is easier. Any rough patches or off camber the mountain trike is way easier

On flat ground its way more efficient than a wheelchair. It's just uphill that's tricky. After a day out I would say I got further with the same amount of effort

You've down a good job by filming and talking about that offroad chair. But to be honest, as a wheelchair user using a lot of different chairs for different situations.... This thing is the most useless chair I ever saw. I can't see any benefit of it.... And it will not allow you to do real outdoor stuff. Without the possiblity for changing gears and helpful electricity in the motors, it is useless and way to expensive. By the way... I have never seen a MTB with a single gear and legs are always stronger than arms. Greetings from Germany
