I was SO SAD when Cat died/lost herself to the plant thingy. I feel like it's such an unpopular opinion with this book, but Cat was my favourite character. It might be because I listened to the audiobook while I read and she had the best Australian accent.

YES! I'm glad I'm not the only one who was getting Sarah J Maas vibes from Kal and Aurora but im definitely not mad at it! I totally want Scarlet and Finian to be a thing I love Finian and Scarlet is a total badass! I just finished this book like an hour ago and oh boy was it a ride!

You should check out Etiquette of Aeons by Randal Brasher if you like Aurora Rising. It's his first book. There is a sequel on the way. It's of the sci-fi genre. I enjoyed it 😃

I don't know who did the artwork for the cover but auri is so beautiful on the cover And for the characters, I googled them and I saw the artwork for the characters and it is amazing the only thing is i kept losing track of the character only remembering Tyler since he's the Mc but after I googled them here are my opinions on the characters Tyler: he seems like a cool respectable man and he seems like a Space themed captain America as he's also referred to as "goldenboy" which I can't help but think makes sense for him Scarlett:I love her personality, she's hot her design in the pictures has really great artwork and her skills are amazing definitely a kind of person I'd love to meet irl Finian: I love how goofy his character can be, also when you were trying to describe his appearance, he has white hair paper white skin and pitch black eyes Kal: he seems rather rough around the edges but he seems like a unique warrior and he's somewhat like me in real life Zila: she's funny but I don't know much about her Cat: she seems like she would be very chill, seems like she'd have the Sci fi equivalent of coffee next to her computer overall seems cool Auri: I love her general character and I love the artwork of her on the cover she's so beautiful and the white hair really makes her look epic

It was an OK book. Mainly because characters really didn't have any motivation to take the risk they took there wasn't much connecting them. I did liked the world and aurora, Kal,zila ,Finn, Scarlett were awesome I didn't like Tyler and cat

While I hate the tropes in the book like "The Pull"(True Love/Destined Mates), and "Hive-Mind Alien Plant" Which both have their Sources with "True Love" originating from the Patriarchy and "Hive-Mind Alien Plant" originating from Amerikkkan Anti-Communism(ever seen the movie "invasion of the Body Snatchers") as well as this Sci-fi involving aliens Which originates From Racism(Alienation of the Contradiction between Nations). I overall thought the Dialogue was generally Good and Story was decent(though please cut out all the "Captain hotness" shite). I would probably give this a 6-7/10 in isolation of those ideas and 4.5-5/10 with. Certainly better than others though not without it's problems as well.
