Add Accessory Power to the S2 Del Mar

This video is about how to add the proper cable to the Parts & Accessories plug on the LiveWire S2 Del Mar. NEVER hook anything up to the 12v battery directly!! only use the mentioned P&A connector.

Interesting. Is that lead only on when the bike is on? I was planning on just wiring from the 12v battery but if its switched thats great to know.

Yes it’s switched. Never attach directly to the 12v, it doesn’t draw enough amps to replenish during riding.

Hey so just to clarify on the S2 Del Mar I need the Electrical Connection Update Kit and then the SAE DC Adapter from Revzilla to plug in gear from Gerbing for example? Am I missing anything?

If you want to maintain the ability to be flexible in the future - yes. You could just direct wire everything and be fine. If you get the garbing gear, you would need the female/male (whichever the gear needs/comes with) and you could direct wire that in. I only use the SAE so that I can modulate other connector types for different pieces of equipment.

I had no idea the LiveWire One had an accessory connector. Thank you for letting me know it's under that black cover under the seat. In an upcoming vlog I'd love to see how that works for the LiveWire One. Also maybe a vlog suggestion unless you have the rest of the month planned out would be tires. I saw you have a stack of other motorcycle tires. I have never taken a tire off a motorcycle before. I'm assuming you have the stock street tire set and a more all weather tire on it now?
