Thank you for good information about this unit. I just purchased it for this 2020 Christmas. I plan to use with JL Audio Stealth box for a 2005 Infiniti G35.... Excitedly ...anticipating to hear the sound of the bass.

I just purchased the ilx w650, I have it hooked up to two Alpine amps with 2 12 in subs, 2 6 x 9's and 6.5's. Sounds great, easy to use. I have had Alpine in my cars from the early 80's. Long lasting, quality products. 👍🙌

Can you stack both amps on the back simultaneously? That would be ideal.

Ok the beginning was hilarous. I feel ya too (but only one son at 20 months old). I'm getting ready to install the ILXW650 in my 09 Corvette. Something to think about down the line when I start looking to swap out the door speakers and put in a sub in the back.

Silly question Chris: Can I wire this up with the new Alpine PWD-X5 Powered Sub-woofer directly to the Alpine KTA-200M since I have some space issues in the vehicle? Does this add/improve on to the total Watt RMS? Please advise. Thanks! :)

Great questions! So the PWD-X5's plate amp is directly connected to the subwoofer internally so that will not work without serious modification. Also, the amp/sub combination in the PWD-X5 is optimized so increasing or decreasing the power could potential result in less than stellar results.

Does the Alpine KTP-445A have a set crosser db slope or does it pass everything through to to speakers ?
