this is a life saver my pw513 cam was stuttering during streams and i figured out it was the cam engine and removing the cam engine also means no softening tools so this was amazing thank you so much!

@@bbkyle I'm using the Panasonic Lumix G9 and actually love it. It's a great camera all around. I'd say it's one weakness is low lighting. They may also be coming out with G9 II really soon. Whatever you decide to go with just make sure it's going to be good for tethering and will give you a clean HDMI out or is setup to use as a webcam. Lumix has it's own software called Lumix Tether specifically for that application.

@bbkyle I guess when I pick my skin tone it isn't doing the color correcting? My camera is SUPER cool toned compared to where yours is warmer, I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I unchecked the boxes and did the sliders like you did but it still wasn't giving me much difference.

After choosing your skin tone, try moving the “Color Replace” slider to its max (all the way to the right). - actually do all 3 of those sliders to the far right, so deblemish, color replace and de-blemish mix. And see if it looks like it does at 8:29. If so, then all you need to do is slightly start scaling them back til you find what works best for you

This is so helpful! I have acne and used the snapcam filter every stream but it died on me last night half way through stream noooooo luckily Ive always been transparent with chat about the filters so it wasn't a surprise. It was a jumpscare though haha

Lmao that happened to me one time too 😂😂😂 I’m dying. ☠️☠️ what I like about this one, is you can kinda ween yourself out of overfiltering too. SnapCam had one setting and could come off if it couldn’t capture your face, but because this one is just related to being able to catch light on your face, it won’t like “turn off” the way SnapCam masks will. Ugh yeah, same. I actually do still have SnapCam, but I prefer this one because there’s only one setting for SnapCams and sometimes it can look overdone (and I notice it made my iris’s bigger and darker, and I love wearing color contact lenses) so I like that I can adjust this to be heavier or more natural depending on my mood. Glad it’s at least working as a substitute for you for now! ❤️

That’s great! I hope it helps! It definitely helps me out when I’m having a bad skin day 😂 and it’s nice to be able to increase or decrease the intensity depending on the day. And as long as you have decent lighting aimed at you, it should work with just about any camera quality.

Nope, none that I’m aware of. It wouldn’t like lose your face the way like snap cam filters do. It more so recognizes where highlights are on your face so it’s a little different than capturing where your nose/mouth/eyes. Fast forward to where I’m adjusting the actual filter settings and you can see a little more of what I mean. It won’t turn off any more than like a green screen could turn off. (Which I’ve never seen happen before)

Hmmm, try using a text editor, open filter-deblemish.lua and go to line 160. Change: obs.obs_properties_add_color_alpha(props, SETTING_MCOLOR, TEXT_MCOLOR) to: obs.obs_properties_add_color(props, SETTING_MCOLOR, TEXT_MCOLOR) That is, remove "_alpha". Save and open OBS again.

No, unfortunately :( SLOBS doesn’t allow plugins that aren’t created by SLOBS. (Slobs is actually a literal copy of OBS’s code and repurposed into a bulkier package. So everytime OBS has an update, SLOBS will take a while to implement any changes.) I’d recommend downloading OBS and slowing setting it up over time until you’re ready and then just make the switch. There’s quite a few videos on YT on the difference between a SLOBS and OBS and recommendations on which to use. ❤️❤️❤️ I have a Mac and it works just the same. You don’t open the .lua file by clicking and opening the file itself. You open up OBS. Then in the top menu, click “tools -> scripts -> + -> locate the .lua file and add it”

Check out the settings section at 4:24, and adjust them until only your skin (when showing the mask) is white. And don’t forget to mess around with the checked boxes too if needed.

Hey Fiona. Unfortunately, it only works for OBS Studio and not Streamlabs. Working on *possibly* making available for slobs but no timeline in sight at the moment. I used to use SLOBS but found OBS Studio to be just as easy and offering more customizable options such as with this filter! (SLOBS actually just copied OBS. Tons of videos out there about it)
