This fabric wrapped rope bowl is such a fun project to do. Watch how easy this comes together. All you have to do is take clothesline rope and fabric and sew it together. Love your basket ❤. When you used a glue stick to remove excess hot glue blew my mind, an ‘of course’ moment . Face palm 😮😅😅

Thanks for the info I am going to try it with 1.5” wide wired ribbon with the wire taken out. I have A lot of it. any narrow ribbon I think should work..

One nice thing about making these bowls , if you do get a hole ( see light between the rows) just go back to that area and sew it again. This bowl is nice. I haven’t seen this technic yet. Thanks for sharing. 😊👍

I was thinking of using the iron seam tape to hold it together instead of the glue, have you tried that yet?

How wide did you cut your strips? I cut mine 1" and it was too narrow and fiddly to iron.
