Martha I happen to be watching other shows as I’m a big KZbinr, and I found your show. I have always been interested in baskets and there you were and I know the Lord directed me to you because as a believer, You are too. Thank you, you made this look easy, back in the 80s I sewed most everything I had a business where I made exercise wear and bathing suits. I also made other things like costumes and wedding dresses bridesmaids dresses, etc.. it’s been so long though since the last thing was my daughter’s wedding dress back in 2014 isn’t that sad… But I am going to look into doing this. Thanks to you. Blessings all over you. PS I did subscribe and like as well

I've warched several other videos of this type and yours is by far the best! I think the part of pulling out the center core at the beginning and end is a wonderful tip - it makes those bends much easier. I love your designs, they are so delightful. I remember making something like these baskets back in the 70’s only we didn’t sew them. Only used hot glue. I think the finishing touches make yours so beautiful and complete!

You could also use a Wonder clip at the 13 ft mark instead of the straight pin, so you don't accidentally scratch yourself. Sweet little bowls. I'm a quilter, too, but I could see myself making these, too.😊 I have plenty of scraps for coloring them! They would be cute with a couple of small bowl pillows in them, too.
