Thanks for the tutorial! I have a question. So for my stop motion clip, there are bits where the character is moving, and bits where the character is still. For this Pixel Motion Blur, would I be just applying it to the whole clip or would I be separating my clip into layers of still frames, and layers of motion, and only applying to layers of motion?

Good question - The effect only adds motion blur where there is motion. If there are multiple shots, split them up, since the cut will be seen as motion. If it is all one shot, you have the choice to add the effect to the whole clip or to segments of the clip where there is motion. Keep in mind this effect greatly increases render time, so it might be beneficial to use it only where it is needed.

Thank you! One more question. At 1:10, you're setting your composition settings. The resolution is at "half". What does that mean?

It's the playback resolution. It's just for faster playback. It will still render full quality in the export.

Has to be in AE I think. *right click the clip* > *Replace with After Effects composition* it'll open after effects and create a new AE project file. making changes in the comp will update within premiere too. They're linked. don't need to export.

Yes! It works on precomped linked premiere seqs or you can just export from premiere, then import to AE and do this, and then push it back out to premiere :)

Hi. Force Motion Blur blends existing frames together, whereas Pixel Motion Blur calculates the difference between frames to give more natural looking motion blur.
