With this tutorial I want to show you proper ways of usiung the slide nubmer and page counter function in PowerPoint. I will explain you two ways of achieving it: directly on your slide by adding it to a text box and by createating a Layout inside Slide Master and adding the slide number counter there. Both ways are okay to use and it's important that we learn how exactly are slide numbers treated in PowerPoint.

The bottom right text box that you see in the Master is already the slide number. To make it visible, close master view, go to Insert > Header & Footer > select "Date and Time", > Apply to All

No, and I wouldn't hope it comes anytime soon, it's not an important feature so they skip it and work on other things :P

You can manipulate the font in powerpoint and use the "Replace Font" option , it really depends on the situation I can't really answer that fully in a comment.

You would have to add the tags manually, I don't see an automated option for that for now ;)

I need present slides depends of day of the week. I have a restaurant and need show specials or dish of the day.

Well then you need to design several slides and just showcase them each day, one by one :) If you make a slide advance on mouse click (on the transitions tab) it will not change unless you move your Mouse. This way you could simply display a slide for the entire day until you turn off powerpoint.

No not exactly, you can add slide numbering in the Slide Master to the bottom of your layout. It should appear especially that very often you use one layout through the entire presentation.

im new to PP, and can not even find all the options you get when pressing insert. I use office 365 online yearly subscriber , is that different? your version seems so different :s

Yes. The online version is much different from the desktop one. It has way less options and possibilities.

You would need to switch the layout for the slides you made so the number would be added. I think I would just add it by hand on top of the slide right there in powerpoint and copy over by hand to each slide, would be quicker :P

And how did you show us all of the pages on the left?

What do you mean? You would need a separate Layout for that and just right click on your slide and select the new layout with the numbering on the left. That should work :)
